Who said PLD is cheap? BLM rapeness inside!

Definitely playing Paladin better recently! Made some brand new macros, which actually are helping a lot both hate and “surviving” wise. I bought some new fancy things (Shield torque, buckler earring,Ada legs, resolute and ……… Quick belt (working on codices and swift belt right now) and borrowing Dusk Gloves from Kerb until I’ll get Homam hands.

Also working on Shield (and leveling Savul, got lvl 59!), while wearing all skill+ gear possible I have, including a Masters I bought for this occasion(+10!) and -evasion stuff (Hauby, aurum hands and Adaman legs, for a total of -30ish approx)
Been fighting Black mandies in Den of Rancor getting decent skillups. The whole process is actually going fine since I brought my RDM mule with Phalanx II with us (took over Michael few time ago), and now I’m 20ish levels until cap. Gimp I know. Kill me :(

And still having bad luck with WAR and PLD NMs in Beadoux [S]. Mask and Sword just don’t exist at all. But I’m still happy since I went 1/1 on Shield!
And tanking those NMs makes me actually emo, due my very very low hp. Really, fuck that. I think I’m going to leave my 1 million fire resist planfor some HP++ stuff on AH (not like we fight Tiamat everyday, and honestly my BLM is doing great on Tia, so rather bring that).

This is a total of TWO MILLION GILS D: Probably most PLDs out there are already horrified seeing this, yup, this is actually the idle gear i want to get. Call me gimp or crazy but i’ll go for it. It’s actually good since I have all hate++ things on flash rampart and sentinel macros and I can actually CureIV myself when I’m going to switch back.
And no, this is NOT a final gear solution, since as you can see there is no homam there :p It’s basically something I can buy/get soonish.
The only item I’ll have hard times to get will be indeed Bloodbead ring, due my short time and the NM itself being a big asshole to farm. Koenig cuirass will just be a matter of time, just need Odin to put that stupid thing out and see if sacks allow me to get that (I should, not sure tough!)
Steppe sash is insanely expensive -1mil itself-! but I’ll probably try the BC on my mule, I should have enough seals for a couple of runs. If I don’t get that lucky, I’ll just buy.
Everything behind this is myself getting tired to die after eating some ugly tp move and die one hit after only because I’m a taru.

Paladin fail times are followed by BLMs uber winnings: we fought a total of 10 Ouryu yesterday (B2 mask inc soon for me I guess!) and I got some crazy damage there :3-

I still miss tons of merits (no one wants to know about my Freeze and Potency meripo status, even tough I have capped elemental) but I guess that’s “kinda” OK since I have good gear <.< But will fix that soon.

Like I said in the previous post, my Salvage group got destroyed, me and Kerb decided to take a break from it, focusing on other stuffs (like Nyzul, Assault clears), leveling my Scholar and farming/doing random stuff!
I guess it’s deserved after a couple of years of Salvageing. Feels good not having to worry about APs^^ And maybe I’ll be even able to get Yigit feet, about time I’d say! I’ll just tag along with Amina when his group will do Bhaflaus to get Morri feet 15, just for the sake to complete the piece. Don’t want to have TWO 35s (body too!) waiting at npc ;;

Regarding Ouryu, we kept breaking our own BC record~
Too bad the one we did best was a guest orb x.x; That means no SpikeFlail’ member name on it! Whatever, like if that is something really important.

Last Dynamises went fine. Still no drops, but fine. I guess the increased drop rate doesn’t really apply to us.
ANOTHER Buburimu with no sign of Valor cape (this is getting ridiculous, seriously) but got a decent amount of -1s! And i got my very first one ever :D
I’ve never been much interested on them, mostly because their upgrade cost. But there are few piece of gear that are really worth it, like Sorcerer’s gloves +1. Two more dark skill is really a nice improvement.
The only useless AF2+1 I want (because, the HQ version does really nothing performance wise) is the petasos! Just for the white border freakness and to be….cool.

Kerb managed to get a trigger for Provoker, an NM in Promy Vahzl that drops Stone gorget.
We gave it a couple of tries, and it’s actually really easy to fight! We just failed once because our MNK didn’t sub nin, but after a wipe he went to change to NIN and everything went smooth and fine.
I had to Reraise-sack it multiple times to make it not depopping while people were coming back, after homepointing.

Jowah saves the day and the trigger! Gratz Kerb for your new shinyz! And also to me and Sofo for the opportunity to get the zone map -awesome thing since it gonna be real handy for Promathia missions-

And yeah, set is going pretty well. Went 1/1 on bosses, still have to do mea, we just have problems finding a day we’re all online x.x; Sucks that some of us work I guess!
Can’t wait for next mission, me playing as PLD! Orz.

Absolute Virtue, what happened.

Absolute Virtue was patched, we came, we equipped our weapons and killed it. Easy? Well, kinda.
My linkshell doesn’t have at the moment enough DRK zerg power to kill it down (not like it matters anymore) and our leaders decided to team up with another good linkshell, Novorsa.

I found myself tanking Jailer of Love. Which is something I actually love (well, I just ADORE it), mostly because of the RDM subjob!
Nothing out of the ordinary there, just the same good ‘ol spamming stuff for hate, and die for JoL 2hour. Just had to hold that thing for few minutes at low percentage while Graeson, Amina, Hoss and other DRKs were getting ready with songs, rolls ‘n stuff. We killed ally leaving only tanks and BLMs in to let them kill JoL, and keep melees hate free.

Everything but DRKs and a WHM in each party joined the zergfest. That means no fancy title for me :(
I was healing people from outside ally (I literally had 4-5 /ma “Cure IV” playername) and the whole zerging was going awesome.
But unfortunately, we screwed up a couple of stuff (early Drain IIs and most important, a missed Benediction due lag) and first try ended like this.

What sucks most, is that we wiped at 1%. Yes, ONE FUCKING PERCENT. Matix tried a desperate EES but damage wasn’t enough for the kill :(
It just sucks I couldn’t do anything, and since too much time passed since we engaged, we obviously couldn’t recover. Sucks to be us.

Second try, same strat. Me-Cyn-Terny poke JoL, hold it a bit and then make BLMs kill. Absolute Virtue pops, DRKs gets their drains and buffs and they go. And apparently, the strat worked perfectly on our second try ever.

I know it’s quite late to post this, but I’m still excited for that fight. My only complain/whine is not being able to get “Virtuous Saint” title ; ; I guess next time I’ll get it! (when players will fight another working strat in 783438 years)

Drops? Bellona’s, Mars’s and Raphael’s Rod. Three. Yeah three. And sucks the fact it wasn’t our pop.
What does that mean? We killed AV but got nothing to show off :( Even a stupid rod would have been enough!

SquareEnix is such an asshole to players right now, patching AV again after a single mere week.
Why? Because they don’t like zerg? Then why they let us zerg Dynamis Lord. Or King Vinegaroon. Meh.
I was really happy because it was finally killable, and besides items and everything, the whole teaming thing with NO was awesome. Linkshells working together to fulfill something is great imho. And, isn’t the base concept of Final Fantasy itself, with the whole friendship blah blah thing ?

Anyway, we kinda left our toughts from Absolute Virtue right now, and been focusing a bit on past NMs and Pandemonium Warden (we got a pop set!) But i guess that will be next post’s main thread!

Hellday is now playing on Dukefleed character while waiting to have his old taru back. Since he wasn’t able to make it in time for an Einherjar run, he asked me to get him the clear.
Well, I got kinda tempted to play/try a melee job (Ridill WAR), since it was a lolT1 chamber and had a big amount of people anyway. And I did.

I think I’ll never level a melee. At least, WAR doesn’t really fit me. It’s……….. boring. Extremely boring.
And seeing my HP dropping w/o being able to do anything is an horrible feeling! The only jobs I could ever raise could be only DRK DRG and THF probably, mostly because they look more “active” battle wise and got better unique stuff. Don’t get offended you proud melee guys ;(
All jobs above can be a real viable option, since by then I’ll have some homam, but it’s not the time to even think about this! I resumed leveling SCH last weekend (thanks Grae!) and I’m 46 and some exp. Yay :3~

Ok, that was totally unexpected o.o I mean.
We were waiting for our AV “date” and Ami just traded me out of nowhere. “Oh cool” I thought “He’ll probably trade me those HQ Coral legs for JoL he lend me that other time”
But then I saw this x.x Novio Earring! Literally died irl D: I think Ami had to wait at least a whole minute to complete the transaction. I’m so happy ; ; Thank youu!! Still shacking irl for it!

Next item for BLM I’m planning to get is Merciful Cape. Me and Kerb have like a total of 5H.Q. Aern Organs, I hope it will drop, I’m like 0/8468756 on Ix’MNK ._.! Wish me luck!

JoL tanking experience!

Tanking JoL was one of the most awesome things ever! I really enjoyed that much.
My equipment turned out very good ( Coral legs+1 were borrowed from Amina) and I died only twice because I got Astral Flow’d, and since I have loltaru HP I couldn’t pop Sentinel out. (Went even through stoneskin!)

Can’t wait to do one soon again~ Hopefully with some Iron Ram gear!
I managed to get Emblem rank and enough point to get hands, but I am kinda afraid to switch to Sandy since that city fails too much in terms of campaign and everything @.@; I’ll probably save more AN to get at least 3 pieces at once, then switch and switch back right after!
I’m also curious to see stats of mage set body and Iron ram’s when they will be released. Because BLM will always be my most important job :<

When I’m at home I literally throw myself into pixel world and completely forget about blogging and everything else! And last quick was kinda listing-like and telegraphic~

I finally got my piano collection CD! It’s too bad I have to Kerb to come here before listening to any track! My gimp connection doesn’t allow me to download any MP3; I need to wait the real thing itself!

Harpsichord item is really cute and cool.
It’s so lovely hearing its sound at 22:00, I should record it next time and put the tune on blog!
And starting to think that each piano is able to play only a single tune~

Had kerb coming to my MH while waiting to hear it tuning out some good melody, good chance to have a subligar-condom hat party <.<!

Had AWESOME Paladin’s accomplishments in last two weeks. Best one was, tanking at Divine Might BC.
Some people in Linkshell wanted to change their earring, and I offered my help. I was already on pally (helped with some ZNMs earlier) but was /anon since I was sure I had to come as everything but tanker.
Then Amina asked me to come PLD to straight tank the Mithra while everyone else killed other Ark Angels before her…….and I thought, why not!
Not hiding I was super afraid to fail, die, missblink, and all possible mistakes ever, lulz.
Ended up doing fine! I also kited for a bunch of time a King Vinegaroon some days ago, had really no troubles even with no wlegs. And helped Sofo to kill Jazaraat for ToAU missions!

I still need to work a lot on equipment department and my HP sucks!
Bough a Cassie earring few days ago, hopefully will kill Bomb Queen soon and I’m going to start doing Limbus today with the Linkshell for Homam hands, feets and legs.
And I’m super happy for Valor Surcoat~ Also Jelly ring is very useful, especially in campaign. I’ve tried camping Bloodsucker for its ring but I kinda lost my hopes since competition is quite high …/wrist

Salvage is giving me hopes again. We got lot of new recruits and we always do runs with like 9 people or so.
Some of them are still totally new to the whole thing, this means for now we’re still slowing things down and still failing a couple of stuff x.x And I have to pull and port like a madman x.xxx
After my Macha’s coat, we got a couple of Usukane feet drop out of four POPs (gratz Pace and Pano!) and hands of same set~ (Pace haxed Salvage, about time!)
I can’t really wait to do Salvage like the old times, and poke mobs I haven’t seen for ages like Citadel Chelonian.

Scholar is going horribly. 3k to 43. Basically, I can’t find any party. I guess people wants more Haste and Refresh now. I even put comment “PL RDM 75″ but still zero invites. Well fuck that.
And it’s too bad since SCH is more performing that a BLM, WHM or RDM. Too bad i can just type “/ma Haste <t>” on my PL and still quicken up you guys.
Gave up some days ago, gonna try again sometimes this weekend.

Managed to claim a very good number of Kings lately.
And I’m super happy because I managed to fight Fafnir twice as BLM. Always did that fight as BRD or WHM, I wanted to test my nukes against that stupid dragon!
First time, I got shotted after a magic burst. This means I’m a cool BLM! Damage was not that great (I need to stop comparing my nukes to Kerb’s) but I’m still missing Novio on some merits on potencies and Burst II.
Stupidly happy to get hate off it! :x

Forgive me for the lack of posts, but I’ve been really caught with lot of work (got a Job promotion! yay!) and in game distractions :3

Last update really killed my playtime! Been camping Sandworm and Pony since their release. Had horrible luck with both of those but actually manages to claim~!

Found K.A. on Sansdworm. Killed with ease. Really had so much fun since it was Magic burst time! I have/had few occasions to MB ever. Blame ToaU and BLM hatred since that expansion I guess.
Drops (actually, the only drop) was the most lame and horrible ever. That ugly useless round shield. Yay x.x

Fought my first Tiamat as BLM and I can say I’m impressed. Had very good accuracy. I had very few resists and nuked it for 480-520, and that is so awesome considering I don’t have Sorcerer’s petasos, Merciful cape and any additional MAB stuff (no Novio, no Sorc etc). So, only NQ AF1 hands and Numerist pumps, those ZNM Nashira feet -1.
………Okay, I am cheating. I had Warlock roll on (and Evoker’s, so no additional MAB) but yet I’m very satisfied with it.
Tia dropped useless stuff, got dama’d D:! Well, still money, better than nothing!

Did another wave of ZNM, and this time some R3. Funny as hell, even if I lost more than 10k exp and now I ended up with 25k buffer or so x.x (I usually keep my BLM capped, this hurts! D:)

Achmoth and Vampyr were very gay at start, because we did the horrible mistake to don’t bring them at zone. Once we figured out what to do with those peeps, fights went really fine with not much troubles :<
…Even if I’ll still have to sleep train stuff to zone, and that’s not exactly something I love to do!
Gears were just too easy. I think a BLM or 3 can solo them just fine. Need to drag Kerb and Chronus for this next time :x

Got nuked from Kerb (<3 stoneskin and stuff wearing like one second before) and I was able to lot an awesomestilish ohmahgawdiluvit Sorcerer’s coat! I’m so happy it looks so pretty!

After clear, I didn’t think twice and went to suicide. Like all LS did.
I got MPK’d a second time (due to Kerb i think, if not will be his fault regardless!) and I couldn’t -ga run all those dragons :(
Oh well! Next time I’ll payback this death to whoever I see first :3
And I still need to kill Kerb. Either Besiged or Dynamis, I don’t care. I have to. <3

FINALLY ENM decided to drop. Hedgehog bomb → 600k/2!
We totally decided to make a run each and split drops regardless. If we get utter luck we’ll be able to gather 1.2M per run, if only a single bomb will drop we’ll split that anyway^^
Kinda afraid to solo this ENM, since I always duo’d before! But now I have very good gear AND merits, so basically it’s “only” a matter of skills :x …….and lag.
I need to get money somehow for Wootz ingots, Cassie earring and Sorcerer ring. Plus I’ll join regularly LS’s Limbus runs in fall and I need a solid money incoming! Need a couple of Nashira stuff to complete my blm! And homam for pld :3

Einherjar~ This new system is awesome, even if it’s soooooo noob friendly. Everyone will get their Omega rings and Gleemans capes, or Kings abj >.<!
But this makes me raise my hopes to get some Valhalla gear some day, maybe in a year or so….if only it ever dropped. As long with Hofud for our BLUs and Valkirye’s Fork for our DRGs!

Scholar 29! I found a very nice guy I’m partying with since level 24 or so. Made a couple of quick low-people parties (got 26-29 with DRG SCH DNC and RDM PL) and finally jumped to Seer’s level x.x!
Decided to sell HQ seer’s stuff I had and re buy NQ. Gonna start storing 2-3 cap 30-ish armor sets, will be so handy in case I’ll ever help again on some CoP missions (hi Kogenta!)
Will store Eisen as well (once all piece will appear in AH D:), then need to find something for BRD too, even if it’s not really needed since that job is LOL at promys, and at cap 40 I can just use RSE :3
-6 levels to Sublimation! and -21 levels to awesome leech in sea. Someone is shaking waiting for his weather!
