Last months recap, back on blogging world!

Here we go. It’s nice to come back writing my little FFXI weblog, I missed it sometimes, I can’t hide that! It’s hard to describe everything happened in the last months, so many stuff and events to cover! A little sum will be enough I guess~

A Crystalline Prophecy.
Honestly, I liked it.
Maybe it was too fast, and I probably would have liked more BCs and less farming, but I enjoyed some hours doing those missions. And I’m one of those few mad people who actually enjoy doing cap stuff! That really reminded me when I did CoP except the not-naked part, running around with cute (horrible?) tarutaru pajamas is just ….awesome. (No, I don’t have some strange child PJ’ fetish x.x)

I did final BC twice, and for my first run we had Dangerousdj aggroing everything and saving us from certain death! Heavy mob trains are awesome, reminds me a bit when I was used to train all Gelshba with my little BRD ;3
Second time, me and Kerb climbed duo, me as WHM and him as…RDM! Was really easy, since we (we=Kerb) managed to sleep the few aggros with no problems at all (god saves enfeebling merits) and reached the top in a mere…20-30 minutes i think, I wasn’t really clock’n the whole thing.

Careful, spoiler next! Don’t peak if you haven’t played all ACP!

I loved final fight. We wiped on the first attempt, but it was just for some little misfortune.  2nd try went smooth and won with decent time!
We adopted the slow “safe” strat, instead of lolboring zerg setup. I don’t like to abuse of zergs when you can actually fight properly something,  of course this doesn’t apply on some mobs like Dynamis Lord or Valkurm boss.
PLD/RDM (me!) SMN SMN COR (Kerb) RDM/DRK and WHM. Basically, the summoners were our constant damage, while the COR takes care of clones. RDM/DRK to stun most -ga (but those aren’t really a problem as paladin -I never received big amounts of damage-), PLD keeps spamming spells and healing him/herself and WHM takes care of the poor PLD.
If you need some tankin’ for this, don’t hesitate to ask for my help because it’s hella fun!

The reward i took from ACP was Royal Redingote. It’s something beyond fuglyness. Magic Accuracy and Magic Damage Bonus for my scholar!
I’m a bit undecided to actually toss this to get PLD’ one with Fast cast and enmity, because I could replace the redingote with Morgana cotehardie (which I found absolutely awesome, and despite the -MACC, I never got too much resists), or Ixion cloak when I need something between morgana and AF1 body. Decisions, decisions!

Allied Notes NMs. Some can become really nasty, and some are so easy you can tank/fight them half asleep! (Like, the tiger) The ones I probably “liked” the most are the Funguar and Scorpion. Yus, I’m sure a masochist person.
First funguar went really easy, but we wiped horribly on some other run later, because apparently it absorbed someone en-curse from a Igqira piece, a very very nasty curse that caps you to 100 hp! Sadly, we had all to home point :(

Finally started (and almost finished) Serpent Generals quests. Kerb trying to make get me done with it for ages! And since we’ll fight the (final?) BC soon with some Linkshell people, I kinda had to this time. I hate being left behind on missions :<

Only need to complete gadalar (♥) one and then I’m done. I probably like Mihli’s one by far, her backstory is indeed the most interesting one! /me wanna see more ;3
The cat’ cutscene is imho one of the most funny one in the whole game.
Najelith (hope I spelled her name correctly :3) throwing a… silencing arrow to literally avoid Gadalar to burn people and things down made me laugh irl <.<!

Our Salvage set is going nicely. We are actually getting drops and start to killing some bosses!
We are able to lowman (a mere party) everything, and last time we even killed LBC with no losses at all!

I actually lost hopes on my new set once, because we “reached” the same useless point of old one, which it was basically not being able to kill bosses, and have all members with a fuckton of 35s but not a single piece completed. But I think the whole opposite now.

I’m happy that Saturian finally finished her first Salvage piece for her awesome PUP (Usukane legs); about time after like a year of runs! Congratulations^^ And she has still head sitting in MH, I hope she will complete that soon.

And I think this noob deserves his grats as well! Our gimp Amano’ SAM finally managed to get his feet, and Kerb got a pair the day after! (Of course both kills were mine, weee to my hidden TH!)
Now we hope to see a third pair to drop for Satu~

Odin decided to love me, about time I’d say <.<. If you wondering, he finally decided to put out M.Body, but there is some little inconvenient………

Now that I have the abj, money is failing me! Started doing again ENM to Kerb to get some stuff in my purse, since now I’m even down to less than 50k. I think most of my money was sucked by Limbus, Tacos and random meds! I hate being poor!

Killed Kerb, after like 39485738945849 attempts! Have to say thanks to Anatabgogagaga (ZNM mob) for charming me and horde’ing him while he was running away! :3 But me being charmed isn’t as fun as an eventual Burst II kill :( I’m so evul >.<
And talking about ZNMs, we started another cycle, this time with less Cerbs and more Hydras and Khims. I tanked Khim and it wasn’t that bad, ‘cept the fact you can’t slow and elegy it and stun gets slowly resisted, which it made me die several times due horrible para hitting both tanks and mages! But after our first couple fights, we found a good positioning and it went with like no hassle (and because Amina was tanking, lul)

Some nice MB i managed to do on Tinnin, had no buffs nor food since I nuked weak, just reraised! (And of course I died the second after). Getting draw-in each second isn’t fun, at least had Kerb getting most hate before my death turn :p!

And now, my beloved PLD situation! (yes I love showing off my pimpness -I’m such an attention whore!)

Ignore other jobs stuff in equipment list ;3 Notewhorty stuff not included in list are Valor Cape and Homam feet! My PLD is definitely pimp, it’s just a shame for that horrible NQ Kaman, but I’ll start farming some -1s whenever I have some time~ And going to start some mad Khimaira camping once i get DSL (which is going to happen in a couple weeks), with some mule I created just for it~

Lotwhoring of the last months. As you can see, there are many things for my next job: Corsair! Kerb will level it for me on his spare time, hopefully he will be able to zerg it quickly to 75! XD
But besides the Cor, Limbus and LS gifts……. CAN YOU JUST SEE THAT DEKKA DECIDED TO DROP MY BOOTS? After YEARS of Salvage, I (almost) finished a set! Only need to relot lvl 15 (I dropped it months ago) and have Kerb giving some buttsex for mats money! I’m really happy!^^

This post ended up being a massive sum, and hopefully I’ll post again frequently like I was used to!

Phoenix Down, Can I have it?

This site is dead. It was used to get 5k uniques visits in a month once, and now it’s down to …..a mere 200-300.
I tried to post again some time ago, but unsuccessfully. Plus being cockblocked from work killed the little will I had (boss banned all my domains x_x)

I’m still angry to the world, there are still things I don’t like and I don’t agree with. BUT.
Where do I want to go? Complaining over things forever won’t lead me to anything good. I’ll just try to ignore more than I’m used to.

The whole thing doesn’t regard game only, but it’s on a more general note. Take it like some random wave of emotions and thoughts I  have.

For people who still contacted me (Maiev <3) or tried to (yes, I’m horrible I don’t even reply to e-mails…..), I have to thank you again.

I promise I won’t fail again and will try to let souleater shine AGAIN!

Disappeared for a reason…

Since I wrote this in Livejournal, some of you know already the reason I “apparently” disappeared is because I got all my domains and FFXI related sites banned at my workplace (surprisingly, Wiki is still accessible). Honestly, that really killed me inside, since I was used to write posts from there, between a line of code and another (I’m a web developer)
Not really going through a good period of life -again-; afraid to get another crappy project work contract, had some car accident and other things <.<

About the “fun” side, which is of course, FFXI, I can say I kinda whored some stuff and tried tanking more enemies x.x;
Kirin, Ultima, more stronghold NMs, more Dynamis. Really makes me happy, especially because I see I’m doing little better, even tough my little HP and the “Utsusemi has not effect” due lag don’t really help at all.

Epic lotwhoring of the last month or so.

Lost lot on Nashira feet (which is not a big issue since I don’t get many resists with my current full elemental set on, and of course, merits) and finally managed to complete Morrigan’s  feet since Bhaflau totally refused to drop Nemain’s during my runs. About time!
Actually 3/5 on Morrigan (legs and head left) and 4/5 Marduk (fucking Dekka).
Lotted p.Hands for the lulz and those m.Feet makes me 4/5 Koenig, missing “only” Cuirass, too bad Odin doesn’t like to drop it. He luvs ebodies.  I’ll most likely get Valhalla breastplate first!
And 3/5 on Sorcerer’s +1. Missing crapga like body and feet, stuff I won’t obviously upgrade ever. Dynamis-Tavnazia been really kind with me! :3

And not only with me actually. Got a total of FOUR Hydra pieces (Saw a salade I passed, since I have already Assjammer and might get some Bahamut mask soon) and various other AFs, like MNK head, Valor surcoat and BLU legs -1! Gratz Kerb, Matix and Amina respectively!
Finally some good luck.

I’ll try to post more at home, killing a little of my playtime. I can’t let this blog die, since it’s like a part of me :(

Failed solo attempts but cute rings!

Got drunk (not really) and decided to attempt soloing Diabolos….well I guess I should really wait to have my old connection back.

Got it to 15% at best, then I lagged and died. What awesome luck.
I admit i panicked more than enough, and first time I even forgot some buffs.

Basically, enter, Reraise, food, and all possible protective and useless spells you have. Stoneskin, Blink, Aquaveil, En-something, Ice spikes (it actually kicks in good enough), Regen (brought Selbina milk as backup, And yeah, I wasn’t using Sorcerer’s), Protect, Shell, Phalanx, Bar-somespell, Barsleepra and finally, Poison potion. Could have probably used Yag’s drink as well but oh well.

Massive protection because Diabolos spam Dispel, and the last thing you want to get broke is Stoneskin. Just like BRD’ Maat: the more useless stuff to dispel, then more chances to me to win. But I failed :(

I’ll probably try again if some friend is willing to come/lend me account to R3 myself if I fail.

Tanking DM' Elvann

Done Divine Might for the fourth time.
I actually changed earring this time, I threw my suppa but I still haven’t get my new reward yet.
I am very, very, very undecided between Abyssal and Knight’s.
Extra shield skill is always welcome, and on BLM i have already enough Dark Skill. Sch is ok as well. BUT! I will go for DRK next, so uhhhhh!
Graeson will kill me if I pick Knight’s :( Kerb will if I pick Abyssal! What a horrible choice x.x;

This time I had better job to do, hold the hume! Was really easy task to do, and while people were busy killing it, I had to hold that horrible Elvaan as well, since previous tank (which it will stay unnamed !) died to some huge Spirit’s Within.

I love this bc, too bad is not difficult anymore like it was some years ago.
And we beat up record, and we even wasted some time inside refining tactic and positioning so…

PLD getting better!
Now I can actually tank Ixion (did nice last time!), got shinyz Homam Manopolas, bought Sinfender (which is actually nice in stuff like Dynamis, paired with Paramount earring!), Louhi mask (I don’t care what people say but I keep thinking it’s a nice idling piece) and this…

I could keep spamming this for much, much longer because that was really very appreciated since Dynamis been very evul with me lately (still no Argute stuff ;;) and I had really no clue I had chance for that <.<!

Been “wasting” some time doing Moblin Maze Monger.
Made some mules in order to farm marbles quicker, now we’re able to build proper boss BCs!

Current equipment we aim to is Gnole Torque. That means we have to kill that horrible Rabbit of Doom!
Got a bit butt hurted in the first runs, but then we all learned to /nin, stun at right time and go with a sleep order.

1/7 so far, thanks alot to Dangerousdj to pass it to me x.x; Still have to get a couple of those awesome neck piece, then I’ll most likely build a maze for Mamool Ja earring.
MMM is absolutely awesome, it’s like ZNM witouth the horrible picture part!

Finally done a zerged Bahamut, for the first time. We always killed it in the good ‘ol way; BLMs and straight tank. It’s not bad, just makes me insane after the third fight…
Bahamut Zagnal and Staff dropped off two runs, definitely not bad even thought I wanted the mask! And I’m still passing the SMN item, since I rarely play the job and other people will put that to better use.

Limbus been kind to me, and I say about time! Finally got the chance to lot BLM temenos items, and upgraded hands. And I guess I’m done with this job. No reason to HQ’ stuff like head or legs, since the hMP has been replaced by better stuff.
Also haxed recent Ultima and Omega drops, Homam Manopolas (like I said before) and Nashira Manteel! I look soooo cute with that, and, RED! Really impressed none but me wanted that. Oh well x.x!

Finally finished the “Comfy couch” pic. And started another one which is horribly horrible and I won’t finish because too many details are messy and I have no idea how to fix them.
Apparently I’m again in the “art” mood, now lesse how long it gonna last!
