    Disappeared from the blogging scene but not really from FFXI world itself. Ahhh, feeling sorta of Dejà Vu here.
    Besides some little things that made me really sad/emo (totally not item related, “just” had a friendship disappointment), last week was totally hawt!

    MNK PLD

    Had Friday ► Wednesday free. Easter rules! After switching to NA time (dunno why I love playing at night!) me and Kerb grinded our new jobs till almost 66~ helping Ultimatetaru to get 66 with his RNG as well.
    Really having fun times with parties. Loving PLD more and more time passes. I really can’t wait to ding 70 and start equipping hawt stuff! (like the Assjammer waiting in my storage for long) Hopefully I’ll get68 or even 69 this week end!

    Maculol

    I has a Macuahuitl +1 Kerb signed <3 After the AF1 body, that was my closest accomplishment for Paladin, and like a said some lines above I can’t wait for more stuff already awaiting me!

    DynaSando

    Dynamis :3 Last San d’Oria was …..extremely perfect perfomance wise. Fully cleared the whole zone with around 18 people, and even survived some scary pullings, and we were only three or four BLMs……. but hax ones! (including me, lul!)

    Charm

    Got even hitted to death by charmed people, and that really wasn’t so nice, hurted alot ; ;
    Should have stunned more, but few BLMs doin’ it is not really the most awesome idea!
    And lolAmina DRK hitting me for 0! No matter what a DRK will always be a loljob :>!

    Previous Dyna-Windurst went decent as well, besides some …….uhm…mistakes that killed the rest of the run >.<;;;;

    SMN Feet

    Valor Leggins

    Hax lot! (Obviousily only when I have no competition at all!) Got another PLD AF2 and that makes me 3/6 on the Valor set, missing notherland pieces and the cape. Think only Tayhha is missing the accessory piece. And maybe only Mallo for the surcoat, and 2 or 3 people for legpiece. I can’t wait to be in the Valor Club!
    But I really suck because I still don’t have af1 legs. Urg, Badoux coffer, halp me.

    War EXP

    Sad thing, is that both mine and Kerb’s WARs are 33. We PL’ em sometimes botting/asking Graeson for help in Altepa, killing Goblin’s spiders. Too bad that we end up TOO often getting raped by accidental aggro, causing some bad “gsafsfgsasfgsdg”

    I really hate leveling subjobs. And thinking I have to…..raise NIN, RDM, WAR and SCH to 37 makes me really sick.
    Ninja is 19, Red Mage 17, Warrior 33 and Scholar 0. Scholar looks really cool as WHM and SMN sub, maybe even BRD! Also, kinda undecided if level RDM or SCH after PLD, can’t really pick one! But I guess, lot of time will pass till then, need to focus on some other stuff now~

    Campaign

    I started doing campaign again. It’s really incredible how a “game mode” can suck with the wrong job! I’m actually having fun doing Campaign, and I need to regain my old medals back >< Fall back to Rank1, it’s so sad!

    Been spamming it with Kerb for hours, when we had “intervals” between LS events, or we were too much tired for a party, or no one was seeking to make one.

    And plus I’d like to get those Iron Ram PLD hands, and this means I’ll have to switch to San d’Oria…. anyone tried to switch allegiance in past yet? Wiki says you only lose 500AN, but you keep your actual rank and ANs. But what about missions/quests/OPs if I switch back? I need some infos please! So scared to change out of nowhere!

    Hexa~

    Falcoo kinda forced me to level my club skill since I didn’t have Hexa Strike yet (wich, being a WHM with a Reverand mail and something that looks like an ugly melee build is really fail)
    Killed stuff while camping Aspi for Kerb’s egg, and managed to get club till 219. Almost there, for only one level!
    Since I hate soloing any kind of stuff for any purpose, I had to wait to get that whole level till last Salvage run……Bhaflau Remnants (6 people, 1+2, no pop at all, news.)

    After hitting some chigoes……….

    Hexa

    Finally! Ended up exiting from Bhaflau with club @222. Can’t wait to catch Coo online sometimes soon, guess we’re going to have that Hexaburn she promised me soon!

      Hehe gratz on Hexa :) They are good on PvP! I’m not sure about Hexa Burn but Hexa-ing people is certainly good :) I’ve seen faces pwned over Hexa Strike :)

      I switched to Sandy from Bastok with the intention of picking up the hands/head pieces too, though tbh I hadn’t really done anything at all with campaign before hand so I had nothing to loose anyway.

      Mmm, my friend Jkun switched from Sandy -> Windy to pick up some gear and back to Sandy and I think the only penalty he suffered was being demoted one rank or something, I’ll quiz him on it some time. You have more Valor then me /jealous XD I hope my LS does Bastok and Windy some time, suspect I’ll be the only person commenting for head and feet, and aside from that there’s only one person who needs the body too >:3

      Wow congrats on drops from Dyna! You level PLD so fast! There’s no way I can keep up. ^^ Awesome that you got the crocodile sword+1 and signed! I can’t wait to get one and sell my gluttony sword. Hit an all-time low on cash recently lol.

      And for the record I will HexaBurn with you anyway! :D

      The method is to get the introduction letter for the country in which you wish to switch to. Doing the newbie quest again will allow you to switch allegiance without taking a hit to your ranking. I am not sure how much Allied notes either of these methods cost. It is said to cost when you switch back to a country though, something along the lines of 300 AN and your two highest rankings. Only looked it up on the possibility to get cobra gear from Windurst and have only looked on Bluegartr and Alla, so I don’t know if it is one hundred percent correct.

      Good luck in your leveling of Paladin.

      I haven't switched nation yet, but from what I've heard, the first time you switch nation, you lose nothing at all. So if you're from Windurst and switch to San d'Oria as your first switch, then everything will be the same (not sure about the 500 AN or not, but that's minor anyway). But the second time you switch (in case you want to switch back to Windurst or to Bastok), you will lose some AN (not exactly sure how much) and you will lose two ranks. For example, if you're rank Emblem1, then you'll become Star3 after move.

      But once again, this is nothing confirmed by myself since I haven't switched and not really planning to either. I'm thinking that if they implement higher rank AN items, the San d'Oria one would be worth it even if it's just for fashion (damn them NPCs and their cool body armor).

      As for missions/quests/OPs, I don't see why you will lose them. Missions are all the same anyways regardless of what nation you're in. It falls under “WotG mission” on the log instead of “San d'Oria” or “Windurst”. Same goes for quests. As for warps, I'm not sure, but seeing that the pre-requisite is simply “have visited the region” and not having to specifically talking to certain NPCs to be able to warp, I don't think you'll lose any at all. But even if you do lose, it's not that big of a deal. Get the crystal crags from the new Recall-spells, then you can walk with sprint shoes to zone to other regions to quickly recapture your CA warps.

      Good luck. ^^ On a side note though, it's not like you *must* have the San d'Oria AN items to become a good PLD. It's a nice piece for sure for the Magic Defense+ when it comes to big bosses who mainly have devastating magic attack, but in general case, it's not ground-breaking game-changing gear between those and what we've had previously.

      Thanks for the info!

      As for sandy items, I think I'll *need* them since I may found myself tanking tiamat, salvage bosses and such. Mag def helps! I just hope the whole set effect is good, need other pieces released ;;

      And for whm burn, it should be fuuunnnnnn! And wtf exp, this is a game, sometimes you can just have fun doing something unusual

    • By jowy10 , 1 January 1970 @ 2:00, Thursday

      *patz*

    • By zidiane , 1 January 1970 @ 2:00, Thursday

      Yea, hope it goes well for you. It is fun to do the unusual, even if it mass's 6 bodies, rr3 ftw :D!

      Go go pld af!

    • By red_white_flag , 1 January 1970 @ 2:00, Thursday

      I see I see, well it's a good idea then if you move to San d'Oria and stay there for your AN items (either forever or at least until the complete list of AN items are out), especially considering that the Windurst and Bastok items aren't that great. Since there is no real difference between nations in the past other than AN items, it's no harm for you to be a part of San d'Oria instead of taruhome. =D

    • By etherealdk , 1 January 1970 @ 2:00, Thursday

      Hexa strike = sex :D feel so uber to have it XD

      Grats on af 2 pieces^^*
