Who said PLD is cheap? BLM rapeness inside!

Definitely playing Paladin better recently! Made some brand new macros, which actually are helping a lot both hate and “surviving” wise. I bought some new fancy things (Shield torque, buckler earring,Ada legs, resolute and ……… Quick belt (working on codices and swift belt right now) and borrowing Dusk Gloves from Kerb until I’ll get Homam hands.

Also working on Shield (and leveling Savul, got lvl 59!), while wearing all skill+ gear possible I have, including a Masters I bought for this occasion(+10!) and -evasion stuff (Hauby, aurum hands and Adaman legs, for a total of -30ish approx)
Been fighting Black mandies in Den of Rancor getting decent skillups. The whole process is actually going fine since I brought my RDM mule with Phalanx II with us (took over Michael few time ago), and now I’m 20ish levels until cap. Gimp I know. Kill me :(

And still having bad luck with WAR and PLD NMs in Beadoux [S]. Mask and Sword just don’t exist at all. But I’m still happy since I went 1/1 on Shield!
And tanking those NMs makes me actually emo, due my very very low hp. Really, fuck that. I think I’m going to leave my 1 million fire resist planfor some HP++ stuff on AH (not like we fight Tiamat everyday, and honestly my BLM is doing great on Tia, so rather bring that).

This is a total of TWO MILLION GILS D: Probably most PLDs out there are already horrified seeing this, yup, this is actually the idle gear i want to get. Call me gimp or crazy but i’ll go for it. It’s actually good since I have all hate++ things on flash rampart and sentinel macros and I can actually CureIV myself when I’m going to switch back.
And no, this is NOT a final gear solution, since as you can see there is no homam there :p It’s basically something I can buy/get soonish.
The only item I’ll have hard times to get will be indeed Bloodbead ring, due my short time and the NM itself being a big asshole to farm. Koenig cuirass will just be a matter of time, just need Odin to put that stupid thing out and see if sacks allow me to get that (I should, not sure tough!)
Steppe sash is insanely expensive -1mil itself-! but I’ll probably try the BC on my mule, I should have enough seals for a couple of runs. If I don’t get that lucky, I’ll just buy.
Everything behind this is myself getting tired to die after eating some ugly tp move and die one hit after only because I’m a taru.

Paladin fail times are followed by BLMs uber winnings: we fought a total of 10 Ouryu yesterday (B2 mask inc soon for me I guess!) and I got some crazy damage there :3-

I still miss tons of merits (no one wants to know about my Freeze and Potency meripo status, even tough I have capped elemental) but I guess that’s “kinda” OK since I have good gear <.< But will fix that soon.

Like I said in the previous post, my Salvage group got destroyed, me and Kerb decided to take a break from it, focusing on other stuffs (like Nyzul, Assault clears), leveling my Scholar and farming/doing random stuff!
I guess it’s deserved after a couple of years of Salvageing. Feels good not having to worry about APs^^ And maybe I’ll be even able to get Yigit feet, about time I’d say! I’ll just tag along with Amina when his group will do Bhaflaus to get Morri feet 15, just for the sake to complete the piece. Don’t want to have TWO 35s (body too!) waiting at npc ;;

Regarding Ouryu, we kept breaking our own BC record~
Too bad the one we did best was a guest orb x.x; That means no SpikeFlail’ member name on it! Whatever, like if that is something really important.

Last Dynamises went fine. Still no drops, but fine. I guess the increased drop rate doesn’t really apply to us.
ANOTHER Buburimu with no sign of Valor cape (this is getting ridiculous, seriously) but got a decent amount of -1s! And i got my very first one ever :D
I’ve never been much interested on them, mostly because their upgrade cost. But there are few piece of gear that are really worth it, like Sorcerer’s gloves +1. Two more dark skill is really a nice improvement.
The only useless AF2+1 I want (because, the HQ version does really nothing performance wise) is the petasos! Just for the white border freakness and to be….cool.

Kerb managed to get a trigger for Provoker, an NM in Promy Vahzl that drops Stone gorget.
We gave it a couple of tries, and it’s actually really easy to fight! We just failed once because our MNK didn’t sub nin, but after a wipe he went to change to NIN and everything went smooth and fine.
I had to Reraise-sack it multiple times to make it not depopping while people were coming back, after homepointing.

Jowah saves the day and the trigger! Gratz Kerb for your new shinyz! And also to me and Sofo for the opportunity to get the zone map -awesome thing since it gonna be real handy for Promathia missions-

And yeah, set is going pretty well. Went 1/1 on bosses, still have to do mea, we just have problems finding a day we’re all online x.x; Sucks that some of us work I guess!
Can’t wait for next mission, me playing as PLD! Orz.

Everything went fine and cool and that gave me..like 2 weeks off work! After first days of total pain (I couldn’t even move in my bed) I played bunch on FFXI…those are the results.

Did three Cerberus ZNMs and got not even a single trigger drop. Fight was really easy even with the Dispel thing on Stoneskin and the whole Chainspell thing..

Made a quick Sacrarium farm last saturday, dragged 5-6 people and I finally got Glamour Jupon (for sch!) and Gaudy harness!

Scholar 40! I LOVE this job, is so much fun. I can’t wait to get my first weather spell and get to 50, start to happily leech a bit in sea, lol. Manifestation/Accession are indeed the most cool thing ever, even this gimps a bit my own jobs (like Divine Veil/Seal each min at 75)~
Goal? 75 in August!

Quick summary of what happened, to tell the world I’m not dead!

Forgive me for the lack of posts, but I’ve been really caught with lot of work (got a Job promotion! yay!) and in game distractions :3

Last update really killed my playtime! Been camping Sandworm and Pony since their release. Had horrible luck with both of those but actually manages to claim~!

Found K.A. on Sansdworm. Killed with ease. Really had so much fun since it was Magic burst time! I have/had few occasions to MB ever. Blame ToaU and BLM hatred since that expansion I guess.
Drops (actually, the only drop) was the most lame and horrible ever. That ugly useless round shield. Yay x.x

Fought my first Tiamat as BLM and I can say I’m impressed. Had very good accuracy. I had very few resists and nuked it for 480-520, and that is so awesome considering I don’t have Sorcerer’s petasos, Merciful cape and any additional MAB stuff (no Novio, no Sorc etc). So, only NQ AF1 hands and Numerist pumps, those ZNM Nashira feet -1.
………Okay, I am cheating. I had Warlock roll on (and Evoker’s, so no additional MAB) but yet I’m very satisfied with it.
Tia dropped useless stuff, got dama’d D:! Well, still money, better than nothing!

Did another wave of ZNM, and this time some R3. Funny as hell, even if I lost more than 10k exp and now I ended up with 25k buffer or so x.x (I usually keep my BLM capped, this hurts! D:)

Achmoth and Vampyr were very gay at start, because we did the horrible mistake to don’t bring them at zone. Once we figured out what to do with those peeps, fights went really fine with not much troubles :<
…Even if I’ll still have to sleep train stuff to zone, and that’s not exactly something I love to do!
Gears were just too easy. I think a BLM or 3 can solo them just fine. Need to drag Kerb and Chronus for this next time :x

Last Dynamis-Beaucedine went awesome :3 Got clear for new people.
Got nuked from Kerb (<3 stoneskin and stuff wearing like one second before) and I was able to lot an awesomestilish ohmahgawdiluvit Sorcerer’s coat! I’m so happy it looks so pretty!

After clear, I didn’t think twice and went to suicide. Like all LS did.
I got MPK’d a second time (due to Kerb i think, if not will be his fault regardless!) and I couldn’t -ga run all those dragons :(
Oh well! Next time I’ll payback this death to whoever I see first :3
And I still need to kill Kerb. Either Besiged or Dynamis, I don’t care. I have to. <3

FINALLY ENM decided to drop. Hedgehog bomb → 600k/2!
We totally decided to make a run each and split drops regardless. If we get utter luck we’ll be able to gather 1.2M per run, if only a single bomb will drop we’ll split that anyway^^
Kinda afraid to solo this ENM, since I always duo’d before! But now I have very good gear AND merits, so basically it’s “only” a matter of skills :x …….and lag.
I need to get money somehow for Wootz ingots, Cassie earring and Sorcerer ring. Plus I’ll join regularly LS’s Limbus runs in fall and I need a solid money incoming! Need a couple of Nashira stuff to complete my blm! And homam for pld :3

Einherjar~ This new system is awesome, even if it’s soooooo noob friendly. Everyone will get their Omega rings and Gleemans capes, or Kings abj >.<!
But this makes me raise my hopes to get some Valhalla gear some day, maybe in a year or so….if only it ever dropped. As long with Hofud for our BLUs and Valkirye’s Fork for our DRGs!

Scholar 29! I found a very nice guy I’m partying with since level 24 or so. Made a couple of quick low-people parties (got 26-29 with DRG SCH DNC and RDM PL) and finally jumped to Seer’s level x.x!
Decided to sell HQ seer’s stuff I had and re buy NQ. Gonna start storing 2-3 cap 30-ish armor sets, will be so handy in case I’ll ever help again on some CoP missions (hi Kogenta!)
Will store Eisen as well (once all piece will appear in AH D:), then need to find something for BRD too, even if it’s not really needed since that job is LOL at promys, and at cap 40 I can just use RSE :3
-6 levels to Sublimation! and -21 levels to awesome leech in sea. Someone is shaking waiting for his weather!

I didn’t plan to post today, but I finished my current assignments so here I am. Those lasts days been really productive! Too bad I didn’t take as much screen as I wanted, just tank me being so tired and equipped with a fried brain.

Odin last Sunday: performance wise we did awesome; I was playing bard because last time I lagged so much with this connection, but yesterday was fine really. Wish i were WHM or BLM! I even forgot to get some CHR food and gimped it <.< but was able to land elegy with ease.

Regarding drops……oh god. At least we didn’t get dfeet’d. Wbody, Pfeet, Afeet. WTF D: At least all those 3 drops were wanted, so I guess is good. Hope next time Odin will be more generous to us!
(And still, no Valhalla stuff, no Hofud, no Valkyrie’s Fork. Damn it.)

Dynamis Xarcabard. No good AFs at usual, obviously not counting the lolorica and the bst drop. Managed to get RNG too, so huh, not total fail~

Anyway, we got a mantle off an epic Dark Lord.
Did that as BLM again, after a countless times of WHM Xarca (I enjoy more playing WHM instead of BLM in that zone, call me crazy I don’t care!). Got some big MPK at like3~% but luckily Matix and Kerb (on MNK :3) managed to killllll!
Very good out coming. Good job people! :D But Xarca needs to put out moar Sorcerer Petasos and Valor Surcoats D:!

Did a ton of ZNM in the past days. Enough to make me go down to an horrible amount of 100~IS, not even enough to use porter D: I fail SO MUCH for not having Captain rank.

The easiest one is indeed Chigre, and, for what I’ve done, the most difficult one is Khromasoul something.
Well….difficult…it’s debatable. I think that thing should be fought in manaburn, but we had regular parties with tanks (lolme), melees, and few blms. Was a mess! Killed it and dropped Oracle hands, ice, dark grip for Kerb~ Gratz!

I FINALLY finished my RDM on Saturday.
This means lot of things: my BLM is not gimped anymore (moar INT <3 And Gravity, Phalanx and Fast Cast!)
And most important… I can finally EXP Scholar with no worries. I had to level to 37 what back then was NIN19 and RDM16~ish.
Now I just want to rush to 51 as fast as I can and then I’ll be happy to give some weather to Kerb and leech a good amount of exp off him >3
I’m going to gimp it during exp…just because my inventory is crying. I can’t keep low level MND and INT gear, it’s just impossible D: Especially with 10 Bonanza marbles invading my MH. I’ll have a good balanced mix of both.
Anyway, got SCH to lvl16!

Did some Suzaku and Seiryuu yesterday, and went there as tank. I tanked, and died, and tanked again and died again. I have so few HP D: Not even breaking 1200 and I have HP merits durr. I need BQ ring and a …Koenig cuirass (yes, I’m soooo 2004) And something as back that’s not two High breath mantle I’m always carring D:!
I need to buy a shield torque too, and earring to make a good utsu macro (actually, to make the macro itself, since i’m using menu at the moment <.<;)
I love tanking, loving it more and more! Even if I go too much emo when I fail and die >.<
Yesterday I was all “omfgwhythefrakicamepld” when first Suzy kicked my butt, but second went decently and I’m happy!
And I need to finish leveling my shield skill.

We beat Dynamis. Morrigan cuffs completed!

I’m superhappy, I have finally completed my very first Morrigan piece, and it’s even one of the most hax of the whole set!

I had Falcoo helping me alot synthing/desynthing logs and Flayer staves for me many times. Kinda disappointed about high break rate on the staff, if I knew it earlier I would have avoided buying so many of them >.<!

And as usual, I was really really low on gils and IS, Kerb really helped me alot throwing me some coins and almost half bloodwood lumbers I needed for the trade x.x

Tried the gloves (of course…..lol!) and noticed a great improvement on resists, and obviously talking about stuff like Jailer of Love.
I am not really someone who counts how many times getst resisted or readies a parser, since it’s not really me…….even if sometimes I like watching other people damage and happily notice I’m doing better. Anyway, what I meant it’s that I don’t know exactly my resist rate, guess I’ll check next time on some Jailer, Sky God or something.

Dynamis Tavnazia finally dropped something that’s not a BST-1 body. MNK head (gratz Kerb :3) and….. holy cow, Sorcerer Petasos! In Tavnazia! I still can’t believe it. I didn’t get to lot but seeing such drop there made me “:O” (literally: speechless) and that makes me getting more near to mine! /lul

Dynamis-Jeuno dropped a decent amount of AFs, and I managed to get….lul, Sorcerer feets. Not really something to be proud of, in fact I passed the first pair dropped to Kamalii, since it’s a merely storage piece. Oh well, black look!

Me and Kerb resumed our NIN exp. We’re almost 27! And still tons of Anniversary ring charges. Still like…10 levels to go, hope to finish it asap and still have some charges left for RDM, which I really doubt so.
Regarding RDM, I really think I’ll set with Eltharion’s NIN (and maybe Kogenta’s THF, but I forgot what level she is) and PL ourselves till 37. Mhhhhhyeah, let’s say I just needed some attack power. lolRDM.
I can’t really wait to finish both those subs, this is getting a really nightmare, wish my sister was interested to play so I could bribe her for exp! D: (lolme, really.)

After like……three whole weeks of sea farm, I managed to get a couple of HQ Aern organs to pop Ix’MNK.
Actually I only have to thank Bignineinch and his hax THF, maybe I should invite him more often when farming triggers ‘n stuff.

Killed it → no drop obviously. 0/1. I wonder how many tries I’ll need before getting my hax cape :(
Jowah needs more elemental magic pieces and she’s sad. Better it drops soon! (before starting Ix’DRK reraise pain as well x.x)

Have another POP ready to roll and maybe we’ll get another try today if we don’t get to level subs, the only things that makes me sad about not getting cape is going back to farm organs D: But whatever.

Still haven’t posted my character’ statistics so here they are.
This is not bad considering I have started playing on April 2006, and that means why some stuff jumped that high. Last year I was already in Spikeflail, but still had really gimp numbers compared to this year’s D:!

I am very happy about how people liked my last post. I am going to post more BLM stuff soon, and probably will be macros. Windower macros.
Unlike Maiev, who uses execs in game macros (example: //exec sleep.txt) I use a totally different way which are key binds. Guess it will be interesting comparing our methods, expect this sometimes soon!

I really need to do Campaign. really slacked recently, don’t really want to see my medal slip away. And still need two more ranks up if I want to get Sandy’ PLD pieces!
