Last months recap, back on blogging world!

Here we go. It’s nice to come back writing my little FFXI weblog, I missed it sometimes, I can’t hide that! It’s hard to describe everything happened in the last months, so many stuff and events to cover! A little sum will be enough I guess~

A Crystalline Prophecy.
Honestly, I liked it.
Maybe it was too fast, and I probably would have liked more BCs and less farming, but I enjoyed some hours doing those missions. And I’m one of those few mad people who actually enjoy doing cap stuff! That really reminded me when I did CoP except the not-naked part, running around with cute (horrible?) tarutaru pajamas is just ….awesome. (No, I don’t have some strange child PJ’ fetish x.x)

I did final BC twice, and for my first run we had Dangerousdj aggroing everything and saving us from certain death! Heavy mob trains are awesome, reminds me a bit when I was used to train all Gelshba with my little BRD ;3
Second time, me and Kerb climbed duo, me as WHM and him as…RDM! Was really easy, since we (we=Kerb) managed to sleep the few aggros with no problems at all (god saves enfeebling merits) and reached the top in a mere…20-30 minutes i think, I wasn’t really clock’n the whole thing.

I loved final fight. We wiped on the first attempt, but it was just for some little misfortune.  2nd try went smooth and won with decent time!
We adopted the slow “safe” strat, instead of lolboring zerg setup. I don’t like to abuse of zergs when you can actually fight properly something,  of course this doesn’t apply on some mobs like Dynamis Lord or Valkurm boss.
PLD/RDM (me!) SMN SMN COR (Kerb) RDM/DRK and WHM. Basically, the summoners were our constant damage, while the COR takes care of clones. RDM/DRK to stun most -ga (but those aren’t really a problem as paladin -I never received big amounts of damage-), PLD keeps spamming spells and healing him/herself and WHM takes care of the poor PLD.
If you need some tankin’ for this, don’t hesitate to ask for my help because it’s hella fun!

The reward i took from ACP was Royal Redingote. It’s something beyond fuglyness. Magic Accuracy and Magic Damage Bonus for my scholar!
I’m a bit undecided to actually toss this to get PLD’ one with Fast cast and enmity, because I could replace the redingote with Morgana cotehardie (which I found absolutely awesome, and despite the -MACC, I never got too much resists), or Ixion cloak when I need something between morgana and AF1 body. Decisions, decisions!

Allied Notes NMs. Some can become really nasty, and some are so easy you can tank/fight them half asleep! (Like, the tiger) The ones I probably “liked” the most are the Funguar and Scorpion. Yus, I’m sure a masochist person.
First funguar went really easy, but we wiped horribly on some other run later, because apparently it absorbed someone en-curse from a Igqira piece, a very very nasty curse that caps you to 100 hp! Sadly, we had all to home point :(

Finally started (and almost finished) Serpent Generals quests. Kerb trying to make get me done with it for ages! And since we’ll fight the (final?) BC soon with some Linkshell people, I kinda had to this time. I hate being left behind on missions :<

Only need to complete gadalar (♥) one and then I’m done. I probably like Mihli’s one by far, her backstory is indeed the most interesting one! /me wanna see more ;3
The cat’ cutscene is imho one of the most funny one in the whole game.
Najelith (hope I spelled her name correctly :3) throwing a… silencing arrow to literally avoid Gadalar to burn people and things down made me laugh irl <.<!

Our Salvage set is going nicely. We are actually getting drops and start to killing some bosses!
We are able to lowman (a mere party) everything, and last time we even killed LBC with no losses at all!

I actually lost hopes on my new set once, because we “reached” the same useless point of old one, which it was basically not being able to kill bosses, and have all members with a fuckton of 35s but not a single piece completed. But I think the whole opposite now.

I’m happy that Saturian finally finished her first Salvage piece for her awesome PUP (Usukane legs); about time after like a year of runs! Congratulations^^ And she has still head sitting in MH, I hope she will complete that soon.

And I think this noob deserves his grats as well! Our gimp Amano’ SAM finally managed to get his feet, and Kerb got a pair the day after! (Of course both kills were mine, weee to my hidden TH!)
Now we hope to see a third pair to drop for Satu~

Odin decided to love me, about time I’d say <.<. If you wondering, he finally decided to put out M.Body, but there is some little inconvenient………

Now that I have the abj, money is failing me! Started doing again ENM to Kerb to get some stuff in my purse, since now I’m even down to less than 50k. I think most of my money was sucked by Limbus, Tacos and random meds! I hate being poor!

Killed Kerb, after like 39485738945849 attempts! Have to say thanks to Anatabgogagaga (ZNM mob) for charming me and horde’ing him while he was running away! :3 But me being charmed isn’t as fun as an eventual Burst II kill :( I’m so evul >.<
And talking about ZNMs, we started another cycle, this time with less Cerbs and more Hydras and Khims. I tanked Khim and it wasn’t that bad, ‘cept the fact you can’t slow and elegy it and stun gets slowly resisted, which it made me die several times due horrible para hitting both tanks and mages! But after our first couple fights, we found a good positioning and it went with like no hassle (and because Amina was tanking, lul)

Some nice MB i managed to do on Tinnin, had no buffs nor food since I nuked weak, just reraised! (And of course I died the second after). Getting draw-in each second isn’t fun, at least had Kerb getting most hate before my death turn :p!

And now, my beloved PLD situation! (yes I love showing off my pimpness -I’m such an attention whore!)

Ignore other jobs stuff in equipment list ;3 Notewhorty stuff not included in list are Valor Cape and Homam feet! My PLD is definitely pimp, it’s just a shame for that horrible NQ Kaman, but I’ll start farming some -1s whenever I have some time~ And going to start some mad Khimaira camping once i get DSL (which is going to happen in a couple weeks), with some mule I created just for it~

Lotwhoring of the last months. As you can see, there are many things for my next job: Corsair! Kerb will level it for me on his spare time, hopefully he will be able to zerg it quickly to 75! XD
But besides the Cor, Limbus and LS gifts……. CAN YOU JUST SEE THAT DEKKA DECIDED TO DROP MY BOOTS? After YEARS of Salvage, I (almost) finished a set! Only need to relot lvl 15 (I dropped it months ago) and have Kerb giving some buttsex for mats money! I’m really happy!^^

This post ended up being a massive sum, and hopefully I’ll post again frequently like I was used to!

Back to blogging! I missed the blogging world! I actually reading other people whereabouts, and posting the stupid stupid stuff I accomplish in game!

Me and Kerb decided to go through other nations missions and started with Bastok (because we are cheap, and it was 3d at the moment in conquest)
We are rank 8 right now, just missing 3 easy fights to finish everything! Playing with no OPs sucks! But at least I’m WHM and have access to all teles we need :D
Fights are so easy! We only got help for the cap 50 fight and duo’d everything else, using mostly the PLD-BLM or the BLM BLM combination.
Shadow Lord was kinda lol (PLD BLM) and next time we’re definitely going for BLMx2 meleeing it during its first form <.<;; Now more than ever since we got a new toy thanks to ZNM!

Melee mages! Got Mekki Shakki from Experimental Lamia. Kerb’s trigger dropped 2 staves! How lucky!
Also managed to try Earth grip, and it’s not definitely worth it!

I’m not saying it’s useless, but it’s not definitely a mandatory item. I’ll probably buy it since it’s not even 30k, and because I don’t really have inventory issues when I play BRD (only because I’m slacking it recently, not bringing -DMG and MND -yes, for stoneskin- gear with me! And because my AF2 is stored.)

Kerb pop’s are lucky, and got this ring also. I also got Aurum hands, some “decent” piece I’ll use on my lolmeleePLD, since I am NOT going to waste any gil on something that’s plain stupid, hence that’s why I’not buying any dusk armor piece. Since it gonna be something used only for campaign and not important stuff.

Salvage got us recently some nice satisfactions and little accomplishments. Group is now at a solid 10~ish people each run, I think we finally got this set working as it should.
Stuff keeps dropping (Usu legs, Morri coat and other stuff) and we are actually killing bosses.

4/5 on bosses drop! x.X Only missing legs, not like emoFomor gonna drop in Silversea anyway. I hate that area. I hate you Dekka. With love, fuck you. Macha not dropping either (aka: skipping or not doing those NMs to complete people pieces reaching bosses and everything)

I don’t know if it’s only us/my old set, but cuffs just doesn’t drop. Never ever. We got a DOUBLE drop last time. A fucking double drop, puppet kill. Puppet kill made also Usu feet drop once, and now I’m definitely a fan of PUP, and think its toy deserves the killshot. Kill Dekka next time pleese Satu!

Still regarding Salvage, I can’t really stop being emo and emo over it. Even if we’re eactually improving and have a solid group right now.
Why I do complain now? I’m tired of losing at least 5k exp because I pull to a group that went to god knows which room. Or people who forgot they learned Sleep spell and I get raped with no SJ. People pulling by their own initiative when I pop Jakko and I die. People complaining about lottings when I do waste hours to rearrange priorities each 2-3 weeks following attendance. People complaining why we do an area instead of another. People arguing about cells. People not reading log. Failing arra zerg all the time to pop rats.

Sorry for rants but last runs has been something beyond horrible to me, been tempted to HP multiple times. But I guess I should just stfu since we actually get drops and everyone is coming all the times w/o the need to beg them.

Back to old content stuff, Conquest! Windurst got somehow Ronfaure, and I managed to get supplies done before switching to Bastok. With this, I only miss Gustaberg OP, which it would definitely come handy since that region is so gay to reach, but at least I can reach Bastok since I’m WHM using the Teleport-Altep -> Escape trick~

About to fight our 4387539485th Odin. Me and Nep are doing our usual daily elf’ sacrifices in order to make Mbody and Abody drop respectively x.x;; Koenig cuirass looks definitely cool :3 And, despite what everyone says, I think it’s a nice piece! Will totally use that on stuff I really need HP! Like Dynamis and, Einherjar. Plus the pretty look! x.x;

Still no idea why I ended with pfeet. And I still have the cursed for legs in mog house! Only real piece of new abjs I’d want from Odin is Shadow coat, but I’m not really asking for it before I get Mbody!
Morgana chocker is awesome. Sold Ajari bead necklace (Morgana has less MND, but the MP boost compensates the lack of it :p) and Promise badge~
Next item I’m looking for is Ritter gorget. Then I’ll totally go for Delta earring (One more -Enmity than Heaven’s earring +1) and, as last, Kubira bead necklace. For DD WHM and PLD, because I am an idiot :3

Since now I’m doing Limbus regularly with Linkshell i get to gather coins faster, and got Loquacious :3-
I can’t really notice the fast cast, but the MP boost is not that bad. I’m not really a fan of MAX MP (I don’t have it even on SMN, I rather go for some -Enmity) but I felt like gimp without that!

Omega wednesday~ Gonna tank it! I went as PLD last time as well, but I’m an idiot and forgot to change my SUB and tanked it PLD/BLM till i died around 15% or so during some pod farming >.<;! But I guess that was some nice attempt :D!
Omega on BLM is just super boring (Nuke once in a while and wait for pods each ice age), and I’m still afraid to try it on WHM! And BRD is not really exciting, like in most events of this kind!

I should update my BLM equip thinghie on blog and add another job’s items soon! And make some kind of new template sometimes soon, keep saying this for long time now ~.~
Gonna teach Kerb how to use Wordpress/Manafont so he can start to use it soonish!

Bought a Ventrilo server for the linkshell and other uses (my Suikoden site and an upcoming CoP set), currently trying to set it up better! I’ll rarely talk because I’m retarded shy :p

Also wasted money on Tidal Talisman. Yes, I’m such a money waster!
Item looks actually nice and I could really wear it irl if it’s not huge. Had to make it getting delivered to Kerb’s place, since SE fails so hard and they are not sending this in Europe!

The ingame item is almost as win ad Numad Moogle hat, AoE teleports with different destinations depending where you use it! I wonder if it works only in cities…..

It probably will, sadly! And I’m also wondering on something seen on this movie on YouTube [link]… equipping this item will make you having this coat in game ? And no, I don’t read BG, so if anyone mentioned it there already I don’t know!

The whole look isn’t great at all, but I like having fashionable, and mostly, unique stuff. I really can’t wait to get the code and see if my thoughts are right! But I think that probably the talisman won’t affect your body piece to change at all, just came up with this since I’m bored, at work!
EDIT: Actually I’m an idiot, i was totally sure the Talisman was a neckpiece….. just noticed the [Body] tag int he picture I posted! Omg I’m so tired, HALP!

Scholar *still* has no love…I really need to get over it and start going to horrible places and solo, or maybe waiting for Sofo or Ultimatetaru to catch on me and go duo!
I only need something around level 50, after that I could attempt doing some campaign and leech from Kerb in sea and Uleguerande.

Helped Kogenta to get her Genkai 2 quest done. I already solo’d those 3 NMs (before nerf~) on SMN once, but this is totally another story. WHM/NIN. Also true that those three mobs are gimped now, but I would have killed them easy even before the change! Maybe with a support~
I should try killing more stuff as WHM melee, really having so much fun! Will probably do this again on AF quests and more genkais :3
And I still need to fight Maat on this job! Just lazy to farm the testimony >.<!

For last Salvage run, we decided to split up. Panoramix needed Usukane feet lvl15, and that means kill the stupid “reach floor in 30 min” frog.
Since we had 2 full parties we splitted, and I got to lead second group on a relaxed Bhaflau remnants farming run. Run that turned out super productive!

Just ignore NM’s name, having fun with DATs sometimes is w-i-n.
Got a total of 2 Marduk legs (gratz to Sofo and Magnumm!) and a pair of Morrigan hands; Pace is still haxing and he got those~
Best thing was the double drop on our third spider (popped …. 5 i think) and people did really an AWESOME job on our last Spider came up at 3%. Nothing out that tough :(

More PLD news <3!! About to get BQ ring soon (I hope before Sunday!) and Iron ram hands if I whore Campaign enough.

Did Odin few hours ago and yeah, mlegs dropped. Along with Mbody, that’s one of the items I’m craving most at the moment and I can actually get in short terms. I’d say, luckily there were no cursed up on AH, and asked Aviendha if she could synth a pair of me. Many “things never HQ” and such followed in /l. But HEY WTF, FIRST TIME I SEE A +1 (actually a -1 now!) CRAFTED FOR MYSELF! And I thought I brought bad luck.
Too bad I couldn’t uncurse, because SE decided to pick my fee money during night, when my CC service is down …..>.<!

Limbus dropped Apollyon mats I needed …..:o I had temenos one for long time! I had about 70 coins total, but I guess I’ll have to wait a lil more for my Loquacious Earring! (Yes, gimp mage w/o one yet, got Musical first!)

The equip icon may be a bit lol especially due the lack of white borders…….we are going to do JoL on Sunday and I’ll tank it too! Got some decent amount of MDB and Damage%- thingies for my PLD/RDM.
Iron ram Lance, NQ Kaman (sadly >.<;) Coral mail, Coral rings x2, Lamia Mantle +1 and Askar feet. Amina will lend me his coral legs+1, and I really really hope to get Iron ram hands! I can’t really wait to try this, been hyper all week!

Forgive me for the lack of posts, but I’ve been really caught with lot of work (got a Job promotion! yay!) and in game distractions :3

Last update really killed my playtime! Been camping Sandworm and Pony since their release. Had horrible luck with both of those but actually manages to claim~!

Found K.A. on Sansdworm. Killed with ease. Really had so much fun since it was Magic burst time! I have/had few occasions to MB ever. Blame ToaU and BLM hatred since that expansion I guess.
Drops (actually, the only drop) was the most lame and horrible ever. That ugly useless round shield. Yay x.x

Fought my first Tiamat as BLM and I can say I’m impressed. Had very good accuracy. I had very few resists and nuked it for 480-520, and that is so awesome considering I don’t have Sorcerer’s petasos, Merciful cape and any additional MAB stuff (no Novio, no Sorc etc). So, only NQ AF1 hands and Numerist pumps, those ZNM Nashira feet -1.
………Okay, I am cheating. I had Warlock roll on (and Evoker’s, so no additional MAB) but yet I’m very satisfied with it.
Tia dropped useless stuff, got dama’d D:! Well, still money, better than nothing!

Did another wave of ZNM, and this time some R3. Funny as hell, even if I lost more than 10k exp and now I ended up with 25k buffer or so x.x (I usually keep my BLM capped, this hurts! D:)

Achmoth and Vampyr were very gay at start, because we did the horrible mistake to don’t bring them at zone. Once we figured out what to do with those peeps, fights went really fine with not much troubles :<
…Even if I’ll still have to sleep train stuff to zone, and that’s not exactly something I love to do!
Gears were just too easy. I think a BLM or 3 can solo them just fine. Need to drag Kerb and Chronus for this next time :x

Last Dynamis-Beaucedine went awesome :3 Got clear for new people.
Got nuked from Kerb (<3 stoneskin and stuff wearing like one second before) and I was able to lot an awesomestilish ohmahgawdiluvit Sorcerer’s coat! I’m so happy it looks so pretty!

After clear, I didn’t think twice and went to suicide. Like all LS did.
I got MPK’d a second time (due to Kerb i think, if not will be his fault regardless!) and I couldn’t -ga run all those dragons :(
Oh well! Next time I’ll payback this death to whoever I see first :3
And I still need to kill Kerb. Either Besiged or Dynamis, I don’t care. I have to. <3

FINALLY ENM decided to drop. Hedgehog bomb → 600k/2!
We totally decided to make a run each and split drops regardless. If we get utter luck we’ll be able to gather 1.2M per run, if only a single bomb will drop we’ll split that anyway^^
Kinda afraid to solo this ENM, since I always duo’d before! But now I have very good gear AND merits, so basically it’s “only” a matter of skills :x …….and lag.
I need to get money somehow for Wootz ingots, Cassie earring and Sorcerer ring. Plus I’ll join regularly LS’s Limbus runs in fall and I need a solid money incoming! Need a couple of Nashira stuff to complete my blm! And homam for pld :3

Einherjar~ This new system is awesome, even if it’s soooooo noob friendly. Everyone will get their Omega rings and Gleemans capes, or Kings abj >.<!
But this makes me raise my hopes to get some Valhalla gear some day, maybe in a year or so….if only it ever dropped. As long with Hofud for our BLUs and Valkirye’s Fork for our DRGs!
Odin this friday. Hope to get some good drops <.< And I selfishly hope to see a mbody, that’s like the PLD thing I’m mostly dreaming of x.x; Dream itamz! Put it out Odin please!

Scholar 29! I found a very nice guy I’m partying with since level 24 or so. Made a couple of quick low-people parties (got 26-29 with DRG SCH DNC and RDM PL) and finally jumped to Seer’s level x.x!
Decided to sell HQ seer’s stuff I had and re buy NQ. Gonna start storing 2-3 cap 30-ish armor sets, will be so handy in case I’ll ever help again on some CoP missions (hi Kogenta!)
Will store Eisen as well (once all piece will appear in AH D:), then need to find something for BRD too, even if it’s not really needed since that job is LOL at promys, and at cap 40 I can just use RSE :3
-6 levels to Sublimation! and -21 levels to awesome leech in sea. Someone is shaking waiting for his weather!

I didn’t plan to post today, but I finished my current assignments so here I am. Those lasts days been really productive! Too bad I didn’t take as much screen as I wanted, just tank me being so tired and equipped with a fried brain.

Odin last Sunday: performance wise we did awesome; I was playing bard because last time I lagged so much with this connection, but yesterday was fine really. Wish i were WHM or BLM! I even forgot to get some CHR food and gimped it <.< but was able to land elegy with ease.

Regarding drops……oh god. At least we didn’t get dfeet’d. Wbody, Pfeet, Afeet. WTF D: At least all those 3 drops were wanted, so I guess is good. Hope next time Odin will be more generous to us!
(And still, no Valhalla stuff, no Hofud, no Valkyrie’s Fork. Damn it.)

Dynamis Xarcabard. No good AFs at usual, obviously not counting the lolorica and the bst drop. Managed to get RNG too, so huh, not total fail~

Anyway, we got a mantle off an epic Dark Lord.
Did that as BLM again, after a countless times of WHM Xarca (I enjoy more playing WHM instead of BLM in that zone, call me crazy I don’t care!). Got some big MPK at like3~% but luckily Matix and Kerb (on MNK :3) managed to killllll!
Very good out coming. Good job people! :D But Xarca needs to put out moar Sorcerer Petasos and Valor Surcoats D:!

Did a ton of ZNM in the past days. Enough to make me go down to an horrible amount of 100~IS, not even enough to use porter D: I fail SO MUCH for not having Captain rank.

The easiest one is indeed Chigre, and, for what I’ve done, the most difficult one is Khromasoul something.
Well….difficult…it’s debatable. I think that thing should be fought in manaburn, but we had regular parties with tanks (lolme), melees, and few blms. Was a mess! Killed it and dropped Oracle hands, ice, dark grip for Kerb~ Gratz!

I didn’t get to make screenshots of my ZNMs lots, so I’ll just make a simple list~

Solitarie cape….huh…not sure why I still have this in my inv… Gleeman’s cape is x100000 times better! If only I could wear it on pld…as a swapping piece for Utsu macro <.< (but I need Valor cape first D:!)

Claimed Cerberus on a undefined day on a undefined time, killed with a uber killspeed! And finally, after months, I got my Algol! (never dropped when I fought that, and passed last to…..huh Mangafan. Stupid doggie refuses to spawn at decent time.) Thanks alot guys^^

I FINALLY finished my RDM on Saturday.
This means lot of things: my BLM is not gimped anymore (moar INT <3 And Gravity, Phalanx and Fast Cast!)
And most important… I can finally EXP Scholar with no worries. I had to level to 37 what back then was NIN19 and RDM16~ish.
Now I just want to rush to 51 as fast as I can and then I’ll be happy to give some weather to Kerb and leech a good amount of exp off him >3
I’m going to gimp it during exp…just because my inventory is crying. I can’t keep low level MND and INT gear, it’s just impossible D: Especially with 10 Bonanza marbles invading my MH. I’ll have a good balanced mix of both.
Anyway, got SCH to lvl16!

Did some Suzaku and Seiryuu yesterday, and went there as tank. I tanked, and died, and tanked again and died again. I have so few HP D: Not even breaking 1200 and I have HP merits durr. I need BQ ring and a …Koenig cuirass (yes, I’m soooo 2004) And something as back that’s not two High breath mantle I’m always carring D:!
I need to buy a shield torque too, and earring to make a good utsu macro (actually, to make the macro itself, since i’m using menu at the moment <.<;)
I love tanking, loving it more and more! Even if I go too much emo when I fail and die >.<
Yesterday I was all “omfgwhythefrakicamepld” when first Suzy kicked my butt, but second went decently and I’m happy!
And I need to finish leveling my shield skill.
