Who said PLD is cheap? BLM rapeness inside!

Definitely playing Paladin better recently! Made some brand new macros, which actually are helping a lot both hate and “surviving” wise. I bought some new fancy things (Shield torque, buckler earring,Ada legs, resolute and ……… Quick belt (working on codices and swift belt right now) and borrowing Dusk Gloves from Kerb until I’ll get Homam hands.

Also working on Shield (and leveling Savul, got lvl 59!), while wearing all skill+ gear possible I have, including a Masters I bought for this occasion(+10!) and -evasion stuff (Hauby, aurum hands and Adaman legs, for a total of -30ish approx)
Been fighting Black mandies in Den of Rancor getting decent skillups. The whole process is actually going fine since I brought my RDM mule with Phalanx II with us (took over Michael few time ago), and now I’m 20ish levels until cap. Gimp I know. Kill me :(

And still having bad luck with WAR and PLD NMs in Beadoux [S]. Mask and Sword just don’t exist at all. But I’m still happy since I went 1/1 on Shield!
And tanking those NMs makes me actually emo, due my very very low hp. Really, fuck that. I think I’m going to leave my 1 million fire resist planfor some HP++ stuff on AH (not like we fight Tiamat everyday, and honestly my BLM is doing great on Tia, so rather bring that).

This is a total of TWO MILLION GILS D: Probably most PLDs out there are already horrified seeing this, yup, this is actually the idle gear i want to get. Call me gimp or crazy but i’ll go for it. It’s actually good since I have all hate++ things on flash rampart and sentinel macros and I can actually CureIV myself when I’m going to switch back.
And no, this is NOT a final gear solution, since as you can see there is no homam there :p It’s basically something I can buy/get soonish.
The only item I’ll have hard times to get will be indeed Bloodbead ring, due my short time and the NM itself being a big asshole to farm. Koenig cuirass will just be a matter of time, just need Odin to put that stupid thing out and see if sacks allow me to get that (I should, not sure tough!)
Steppe sash is insanely expensive -1mil itself-! but I’ll probably try the BC on my mule, I should have enough seals for a couple of runs. If I don’t get that lucky, I’ll just buy.
Everything behind this is myself getting tired to die after eating some ugly tp move and die one hit after only because I’m a taru.

Paladin fail times are followed by BLMs uber winnings: we fought a total of 10 Ouryu yesterday (B2 mask inc soon for me I guess!) and I got some crazy damage there :3-

I still miss tons of merits (no one wants to know about my Freeze and Potency meripo status, even tough I have capped elemental) but I guess that’s “kinda” OK since I have good gear <.< But will fix that soon.

Like I said in the previous post, my Salvage group got destroyed, me and Kerb decided to take a break from it, focusing on other stuffs (like Nyzul, Assault clears), leveling my Scholar and farming/doing random stuff!
I guess it’s deserved after a couple of years of Salvageing. Feels good not having to worry about APs^^ And maybe I’ll be even able to get Yigit feet, about time I’d say! I’ll just tag along with Amina when his group will do Bhaflaus to get Morri feet 15, just for the sake to complete the piece. Don’t want to have TWO 35s (body too!) waiting at npc ;;

Regarding Ouryu, we kept breaking our own BC record~
Too bad the one we did best was a guest orb x.x; That means no SpikeFlail’ member name on it! Whatever, like if that is something really important.

Last Dynamises went fine. Still no drops, but fine. I guess the increased drop rate doesn’t really apply to us.
ANOTHER Buburimu with no sign of Valor cape (this is getting ridiculous, seriously) but got a decent amount of -1s! And i got my very first one ever :D
I’ve never been much interested on them, mostly because their upgrade cost. But there are few piece of gear that are really worth it, like Sorcerer’s gloves +1. Two more dark skill is really a nice improvement.
The only useless AF2+1 I want (because, the HQ version does really nothing performance wise) is the petasos! Just for the white border freakness and to be….cool.

Kerb managed to get a trigger for Provoker, an NM in Promy Vahzl that drops Stone gorget.
We gave it a couple of tries, and it’s actually really easy to fight! We just failed once because our MNK didn’t sub nin, but after a wipe he went to change to NIN and everything went smooth and fine.
I had to Reraise-sack it multiple times to make it not depopping while people were coming back, after homepointing.

Jowah saves the day and the trigger! Gratz Kerb for your new shinyz! And also to me and Sofo for the opportunity to get the zone map -awesome thing since it gonna be real handy for Promathia missions-

And yeah, set is going pretty well. Went 1/1 on bosses, still have to do mea, we just have problems finding a day we’re all online x.x; Sucks that some of us work I guess!
Can’t wait for next mission, me playing as PLD! Orz.

Best Week-end ever.

I finally started raising a new job. And guess what? Black Mage.
I blame myself to have used other BLM chars in the past (failing tho) and started to love the job.
What a pity I’m used to nuke with a ultra-pimped Novio-Sorc lolGenie-Relic+1 capMerited character and will be a bit disappointed when i’ll get 70% of the times resisted and getting so much less damage.
But whatever! Dinged level 40 and almost 41. I love to put things on fire.
Will soon raise RDM as well since it’s a *must have* sub for BLM (100% sure i’ll 75 that as well -_-, AF love and yay, mage job again.)
At least I won’t need to buy spells on RDM ‘cept Dispel and Refresh I think, assuming BLM will have tier III spells already.

And Jowah got a…..MANTEEL. A MANTEEL YEAH!
Tineey gave me his in one of his random appearances on FFXI, after Dynamis-Valkurm. All I need now is trade that with one signed by Kiraa :c (Yes, I am such a signed stuff whore)
I’m so happy, that is one of my happiest day in Vanadiel. (probably THE most one) That’s my real and only big dream item, as long with Noble Tunic i got as well. So wished that for loooong time.
LONG TIME, and now I HAVE! Thank you thank you thank you!
Next dream gear will be something signed by Jeff (he’s leveling clothing at the moment, almost 50!) and BLM JsE signed by Kerberoz when I’ll be high enough.

Last Dynamis was SEX. Dynamis-Valkurm. We saw Bard’s Cape, Cleric’s Belt X2, RNG, SMN and BLM hat-1 and NQ THF hat dropping.

Such hax lots, lol.

I got both lolCape (since I was using Jester NQ I can use that as *real* equipment) and WHM Belt. Belt is AWESOME, considering I was used to keep Hierarch equipped.
I also got Cleric’s Pantaloons in previous Dynamis so I’m 3/5 on WHM af. Still missing lolFeet and *sigh* the body piece.

Yesterday we did a long cycle of outside Jailers with VERY GOOD luck. Lot of torques dropped (6); congratulations to people who got them!
Now we have around 5 JoL sets ready, and hopefully Absolute Virtue will pop on our heads, and we will attempt to actually try killing that thing.
So bad I was about to getting capped EXP on WHM and BRD D;

Still working on Promathia. And potBC sucks.
Actually would be very easy with right setup, but we had a PLD tank (no offence, but I would take a NIN there), a lolBLU (taru!), an underleveled SAM, a RDM who forgot to land shell on us, a laggy BRD (me) and an hate taker BLM (Mich)
Despite the shitty setup, I wanted to try since I had nothing to do, and I couldn’t find any pt while seeking earlier.
But the MOST IRRITATING THING is the fact that only ME and MICHAEL had echos. I bought THREE STACKS of em just to be sure. Coz I READ guides, unlike others. – -;;;;
Oh, and I won’t mention the fact that melees ALWAYS died in the middle of the room. Guess what? Tractor doesn’t work, and even if we were doing good we were force to leave bc.
Of course we failed, better ask some LS mates for the nex try! (A simply setup of BLMs and RDM with ES can help alot)~

I managed to complete Savul’s first genkai.
I was too lazy for that, since you need to travel to Windurst-Korroloka-Bastok :c ….Thanks god I can warp to Windy directly from Aht Urghan~

I haven’t called him for ages, and the reasons is again that i lack on time ._. But I’m going to start farming soon in Zi’Tah and will duo if Li’Telor is under Windy (gotta have him in noble!)

I did Dynamis-Windurst on Saturday. I took some screenshot but I forgot em on my 360 ;_;….since I had to use both Michael and Jowah coz he wasn’t at home.
And I don’t like BLM. Not in dyna.
I admit I made some mistakes (actually only one) but that didn’t turn bad the outcoming of the whole run, we almost cleared the whole city^^….lot of drops (like 4SAM, 2-3THF, 2WHM, 1PLD and I forgot) but unfortunately not any SMN pieces @.@;
Got clear, now I miss Bastok only, then Beuceadineee!! (better BRD pieces on the way! -I mean more visible pieces on taru, lol-)

Yesterday we had a couple of Jailer of Love runs + one Prudence.
Did I said already that I hate Prudence? I died three times there, with the same formula: stun while singing (was in tank’s party)+ aoe= deadtaru.
Then we moved to JoL and had ♥♥♥ runs :D

Next week will be sky-related, and will be facing Gods foor the first time :c I will try to get my SMN at least 70, and hopefully I will have soon an alternate job for events ._. …… I like bard but I would love to do something different beside ballad-minuet-random etudes onry! Then it will be the turn of WHM (and I’ll be crying for YYR and Noble’ body by then)

More accomplishments.

Unfortunately I couldn’t do any Promathia mission as I hoped to do. Actually people in Aht Urghan and Jeuno were shouting for EVERYTHING cop-related but not 3.5 x_x I started shouting and found only one guy with no Pso’Xia pass x_x;;

I attempted NPC fellow’s final BC in Qu’Bia Arena. That BC area gives me the creep. That’s where I fought Maat, ahah.
I think Michael had dinner, so I set off to Fei-Yin, along with Kaku. I tought that a Raise II could be handy instead of buying a Reraise Scroll with my CP.

With BC cap 50, my only avaiable jobs were BRD, WHM and SMN only. Never tought about bard due its low MP and sucking dmg ability, and WHM could be nice for NPC supporting.
But blah to everything and went there as SUMMONER!
Savul was set up ad Soothing Healer, but imho the Shielder type could be better in this case, so he could heal himself sometimes, and let me save some mp^^
On the first attempt, everything worked fine till Savul died with NM @5% hp. My bad, I did not cure him when he was about to die, I lacked on mp t.t
On the second try, I took more ethers with me (had 6, used 3) and used the same strategy. “Pulled” with Ifrit, and concentrate to keep Savul alive. Double Punch almost each mins and then…. DEAD BOSS!

I couldn’t believe I succeed in killing it. Never seen such a painless and easy battle. And actually smn rocks. That’s why I had no probs with that :D
I also broke the record on my server^^ Consider I wasted lot of time recovering for MP too, once inside I had to Titan->Stoneskin, Blink, Protect and Shell myself x_X

I think I would be ok even with no buffs, since the mob hit me only once, so I did not received any damage at all.
Suggestion for this BC ? Grab you mage job for keeping him alive. Maybe RDM/NIN can melee and cure, but dun’t know. The certain thing is that your friend must be always healthy. Bring ethers. ^^

Regarding Artifact’s fever, I got Evoker’s doublet. And it was PAINFUL.
Getting coffer key was not a problem at all. We found a party comping NM for thief’ knife and they gave me the drop they found while hunting mobs around where me and Mich was.
I was happy, but poor me, I didn’t know what awaited me.

We happily started to search for the chest. First, second, third pop and so on. On the end, the awful truth: The chest could be behing the uggalepih door.
Got Key, removed invis and deadtaru.

Tonberries aggroed me from the other side, wtf.
Went there the day after for a second try, went inside but of course coffer was after the second door. That’s when we decided to leave Kaku there ready to open the firs door. But no luck searching for prelate key.
On the 3d day, Kaku logged and….. saw somebody opening the second door o_o She entered and logged off again, waiting for us to open the first door.
With the aid of Draken we managed to do everything, and I happily got my artifact with no more losses =_=

I also expressed all my love on Allakazham, my love for Uggalepih and its coffer.

Since I couldn’t COP, I raised SMN a little more! Jumped from 56 to almost 60 (Yay to IV-tier spells!)
I’m waiting to do AF’BCs, I also suicided on the weapon fight for a kiting experiment XD
Imho AF head is nice only when doing BPs (like Hastega) and I’ll probably switch to Austere for the rest of the fight, like I already do with the body.

I gone to bed like @6 AM, after that wonderful party I made (we finished at five I think), watching end of a movie (The Fly 2, wtf.) and randomly askin Aini why she was still awake XD (She’s german, so same timezone as me)
Those people were so nice, I hope to party with them again!

Last but not least, I’ll get soon my taruhands on a turbant. Almost 18k IS, 2k to go!
It looks horrible but the stats are quite nice^^ I’ll enjoy that as BRD and one day as SMN and WHM too.

And I didn’t know Mich is a girl. LOL.

Artifact lovers!

Oh my, been a while. And I have a million things to talk about, and don’t know where to start!

I obtained Leviathan, just done a very quick run with Xeel, came as NIN. We had to take his big lazy ass to cloister, otherwise I could say /goodbye to my avatar.

Next aim is Fenrir, but I’ll take it easy and get it when I am enough high to be able to fight him with summoner. And hopefully I will not have to pay anyone for it.

I applied for a famous linkshell on my server. Its name is SpikeFlail, and that’s the one where Yarly (jtaru) is in. I really don’t know if they’ll accept me or no, their reaction on forums confused me.
I was 100% sure that no one would care about this little taru bard with no sea, few merits and no dyna clears. But they welcomed me warmly, I even met some of them ingame and /wave /poke me! At least I found new friends : O
I really hope to be accepted, I’m actually waiting for the apply result.

Then again, I think BRD will R.I.P. when I hit 75 with SMN. Coz I can do anything like the one wrote on the log. I can kill EP with SMN withouth being seriously hurted x_x
Dunno really, I have no motivations for brd, since I can’t do anything serious with it (at least now)
I am only 52, jumped from 50 to this level with a wonderful party I made…. and I’m happy coz I had both COR and RDM *_* I had always MP and could do all kind of Blood Pacts.
Michael bought me the austere robe, fire and water staves…. thank you! Now I miss carby mitts only :(
I absolutely need find someone willing to help me.

We started hunting coffers for our AFs. But I realize something bad……. I did not finish White Mage artifact hand quest. A stupid coffer @Beadoux. Was a little emo for this matter :(

Been a whole night searching for the key, me and Mich ended as dead bodies on the ground (And it was the first of a series of multiple deaths o_o)
“Better luck next day” I tought! And that’s how it want, thanks to Draken’s Treasure Hunter :3

So, the artifact dance started. We’re ok untill 57. I got legs, hands and shoes. And it was fun, despite the deaths I mentioned above /lol

Can’t wait to get and wear the body!
And if you don’t know, we cosplayed as RDM and SMN at last comicon, so it will be sorta of a reminescence of those days :O

We also raised our NPC fellow levels, and now Savul is almost 50, this means it’s time for that BC @Fey’in. I can go there as whm, brd or smn only, I’ll probably give it a try with SMN. If Savul plays right, I can dare to spread my 2H at least two times…..

And he looks very nice with austere robe, I can’t wait to see him in noble ^^

I did the event quests yesterday, and made it in time o_o!
The club is very nice and fits well dream robe and hat, but most of all that print furnishing looks cool in my house^^

Unfortunately I did not take any screenshot of my little place, so I can’t show you how nice is :(

This week-end was so nice, despite some real life troubles and random emo thiefs :/
