I’ve been having horrible power/electricity problem recently, problems that are killing my fun in FFXI so badly, forcing me to “start to play” around after 11 P.M. or so. Where am I living, 3d world country ?

Despite everything (Internet contract was about to be gone too), I managed to get through Dynamis last Tuesday for the whole run ˜ Buburimu!
The run itself…..went kinda bad, with not so comfy and cute fights, and very very poor AF rain (’cept our usual WAR stones and RNG -1) and of course, no Valor Capes at all, not surprised!

But huh, after this run I realized I have some hidden TH! Or I just have used it all at once.

HA! 4×100.
We never saw any single 100 drop. Ever. Totally a win and that made the run worth!

Event wise, CoP is still going fine and without any problem. We went on Oreo 2/2 and about to do Sacrarium. Sadly I didn’t take any screenshot, so I have really nothing fancy to show and my friends haven’t posted anything from it yet or they just don’t blog!
I’m a little scared about next mission: Keremet, Mariselle and my bad ability to move into that zone, I hate it! I guess I’ll handle the “navigation” part to Kerb, and hopefully some other people who are going to help/need the mission will join us!

Been keeping doing Windy past missions. Was thinking to give up and go to Sandy to get Iron Ram gear easier but I guess I can wait, mostly because I don’t even like the elf city and NPCs/storyline about it. Shantotto alone is worth the whole Windurst side!
I’m done with the “Save the warrior mithra in distress” sidequest, aka the one you have to kill stuff inside a BC while you have to keep alive Romaa who has a very very crappy defense, jumping easily from 80% to 20% HP. And apparently all those new BC areas+lot of NPCs makes me lag so badly I could only sleepga once, but thanks god I was with other three good players (Tiyha, Edenie and Kerb) who managed to finish everything with ease!

“Almost” done with Scholar.
I am something around 70 and only 5 levels to go, levels that are probably going to raise up real fast, since manaburn parties are your friends, and I was thinking to randomly join real merits with an “outsider” botted RDM for haste, for the most possible exp i can get!

Leeching isn’t bad either, but I am still useless in sea, cept weather gasm for BLMs and some cool stuff ; I’m getting extremely addicted to Accession and Manifestation because of this:

Gonna be absolutely win at Dynamis, especially in places such pulls in Xarcabard at final line, when you have an undefined mass of BLM, WHM and PLD mobs to dispose of. In Mount Zhalyom I can nuke “decently”, and my top score is lucky 777!

My goal is getting 75 before or around X-mas, and then starting my evil plan to gather gils for Morrigan coat, next thing I’m aiming to. Selling tarubabies could be a viable options, but I do have couple of ideas to earn money, besides doing some merc stuff and finishing to burn all single seal I have in Kraken Club BC.

And, despite I promised I wouldn’t talk much about my lottings, I can’t really hide at all my happiness for getting Sorcerer’s Petasos +1! One of the items I was really hoping to get my hands on!

Update talking in future posts, quite tired and at work at the moment! But by saying that tuxedos are so damn awesome and SCH AF2 and AF1+1 is fapworty, I’ve basically said everything.

Salvage. Currently discussing and creating rules, gonna sum em up soon and start gathering some people for set as soon as possible. Will start in January no doubts.

Diabolos, down!

Thanks to some people, and blog/LJ readers too I decided to start writing again. Not going to exaggerate with the lot sums, because I’ll try to focus to the actual events and especially my Chains of Promathia set.

Yes, CoP set. I talked about this some time ago, I have 6 friends that needed to do all missions, cept one of them who’s at Promy Vahzl. That’s why I’m doing all fights each week, attempting to get them SEA sometimes soon!

Getting ready for the fight! Diabolos here we come!

Diabolos! Went in with PLD/WAR (me), DRG/NIN, SAM/NIN, BLU/NIN, WHM/BLM, WHM/BLM.
We were supposed to have only a White mage and a Red mage, but our RDM’s connection failed on him, and we would have to redo fight anyway twice so we tried. And went 1/2.

We wiped at first because of Head Butt not landing on first Nightmare…and Bio slowly killed us all!
It went quite good overall, I even luckily stunned a move with bash when head butt didn’t work in the last 15%….thanks God. I totally didn’t want to wipe twice.

Tanking Diabolos was absolutely a breeze. Even with war sub with no defender yet, since I’m so much used to blink tank right now. And because…I started tanking hard stuff like Jailer of Love, Omega, and even a Tiamat once! I’m really proud of how it went and I can’t wait to redo the fight for our RDM :)

I’m happy I’m blogging again, and I’m also sorry for not commenting as well to people. Gonna kick in again!
And I hope that writing about stuff more “available” to everyone, such missions, more readers will enjoy my posts :)

Back to blogging! I missed the blogging world! I actually reading other people whereabouts, and posting the stupid stupid stuff I accomplish in game!

Me and Kerb decided to go through other nations missions and started with Bastok (because we are cheap, and it was 3d at the moment in conquest)
We are rank 8 right now, just missing 3 easy fights to finish everything! Playing with no OPs sucks! But at least I’m WHM and have access to all teles we need :D
Fights are so easy! We only got help for the cap 50 fight and duo’d everything else, using mostly the PLD-BLM or the BLM BLM combination.
Shadow Lord was kinda lol (PLD BLM) and next time we’re definitely going for BLMx2 meleeing it during its first form <.<;; Now more than ever since we got a new toy thanks to ZNM!

Melee mages! Got Mekki Shakki from Experimental Lamia. Kerb’s trigger dropped 2 staves! How lucky!
Also managed to try Earth grip, and it’s not definitely worth it!

I’m not saying it’s useless, but it’s not definitely a mandatory item. I’ll probably buy it since it’s not even 30k, and because I don’t really have inventory issues when I play BRD (only because I’m slacking it recently, not bringing -DMG and MND -yes, for stoneskin- gear with me! And because my AF2 is stored.)

Kerb pop’s are lucky, and got this ring also. I also got Aurum hands, some “decent” piece I’ll use on my lolmeleePLD, since I am NOT going to waste any gil on something that’s plain stupid, hence that’s why I’not buying any dusk armor piece. Since it gonna be something used only for campaign and not important stuff.

Salvage got us recently some nice satisfactions and little accomplishments. Group is now at a solid 10~ish people each run, I think we finally got this set working as it should.
Stuff keeps dropping (Usu legs, Morri coat and other stuff) and we are actually killing bosses.

4/5 on bosses drop! x.X Only missing legs, not like emoFomor gonna drop in Silversea anyway. I hate that area. I hate you Dekka. With love, fuck you. Macha not dropping either (aka: skipping or not doing those NMs to complete people pieces reaching bosses and everything)

I don’t know if it’s only us/my old set, but cuffs just doesn’t drop. Never ever. We got a DOUBLE drop last time. A fucking double drop, puppet kill. Puppet kill made also Usu feet drop once, and now I’m definitely a fan of PUP, and think its toy deserves the killshot. Kill Dekka next time pleese Satu!

Still regarding Salvage, I can’t really stop being emo and emo over it. Even if we’re eactually improving and have a solid group right now.
Why I do complain now? I’m tired of losing at least 5k exp because I pull to a group that went to god knows which room. Or people who forgot they learned Sleep spell and I get raped with no SJ. People pulling by their own initiative when I pop Jakko and I die. People complaining about lottings when I do waste hours to rearrange priorities each 2-3 weeks following attendance. People complaining why we do an area instead of another. People arguing about cells. People not reading log. Failing arra zerg all the time to pop rats.

Sorry for rants but last runs has been something beyond horrible to me, been tempted to HP multiple times. But I guess I should just stfu since we actually get drops and everyone is coming all the times w/o the need to beg them.

Back to old content stuff, Conquest! Windurst got somehow Ronfaure, and I managed to get supplies done before switching to Bastok. With this, I only miss Gustaberg OP, which it would definitely come handy since that region is so gay to reach, but at least I can reach Bastok since I’m WHM using the Teleport-Altep -> Escape trick~

About to fight our 4387539485th Odin. Me and Nep are doing our usual daily elf’ sacrifices in order to make Mbody and Abody drop respectively x.x;; Koenig cuirass looks definitely cool :3 And, despite what everyone says, I think it’s a nice piece! Will totally use that on stuff I really need HP! Like Dynamis and, Einherjar. Plus the pretty look! x.x;

Still no idea why I ended with pfeet. And I still have the cursed for legs in mog house! Only real piece of new abjs I’d want from Odin is Shadow coat, but I’m not really asking for it before I get Mbody!
Morgana chocker is awesome. Sold Ajari bead necklace (Morgana has less MND, but the MP boost compensates the lack of it :p) and Promise badge~
Next item I’m looking for is Ritter gorget. Then I’ll totally go for Delta earring (One more -Enmity than Heaven’s earring +1) and, as last, Kubira bead necklace. For DD WHM and PLD, because I am an idiot :3

Since now I’m doing Limbus regularly with Linkshell i get to gather coins faster, and got Loquacious :3-
I can’t really notice the fast cast, but the MP boost is not that bad. I’m not really a fan of MAX MP (I don’t have it even on SMN, I rather go for some -Enmity) but I felt like gimp without that!

Omega wednesday~ Gonna tank it! I went as PLD last time as well, but I’m an idiot and forgot to change my SUB and tanked it PLD/BLM till i died around 15% or so during some pod farming >.<;! But I guess that was some nice attempt :D!
Omega on BLM is just super boring (Nuke once in a while and wait for pods each ice age), and I’m still afraid to try it on WHM! And BRD is not really exciting, like in most events of this kind!

I should update my BLM equip thinghie on blog and add another job’s items soon! And make some kind of new template sometimes soon, keep saying this for long time now ~.~
Gonna teach Kerb how to use Wordpress/Manafont so he can start to use it soonish!

Bought a Ventrilo server for the linkshell and other uses (my Suikoden site and an upcoming CoP set), currently trying to set it up better! I’ll rarely talk because I’m retarded shy :p

Also wasted money on Tidal Talisman. Yes, I’m such a money waster!
Item looks actually nice and I could really wear it irl if it’s not huge. Had to make it getting delivered to Kerb’s place, since SE fails so hard and they are not sending this in Europe!

The ingame item is almost as win ad Numad Moogle hat, AoE teleports with different destinations depending where you use it! I wonder if it works only in cities…..

It probably will, sadly! And I’m also wondering on something seen on this movie on YouTube [link]… equipping this item will make you having this coat in game ? And no, I don’t read BG, so if anyone mentioned it there already I don’t know!

The whole look isn’t great at all, but I like having fashionable, and mostly, unique stuff. I really can’t wait to get the code and see if my thoughts are right! But I think that probably the talisman won’t affect your body piece to change at all, just came up with this since I’m bored, at work!
EDIT: Actually I’m an idiot, i was totally sure the Talisman was a neckpiece….. just noticed the [Body] tag int he picture I posted! Omg I’m so tired, HALP!

I finally got my piano collection CD! It’s too bad I have to Kerb to come here before listening to any track! My gimp connection doesn’t allow me to download any MP3; I need to wait the real thing itself!

Harpsichord item is really cute and cool.
It’s so lovely hearing its sound at 22:00, I should record it next time and put the tune on blog!
And starting to think that each piano is able to play only a single tune~

Had kerb coming to my MH while waiting to hear it tuning out some good melody, good chance to have a subligar-condom hat party <.<!

Had AWESOME Paladin’s accomplishments in last two weeks. Best one was, tanking at Divine Might BC.
Some people in Linkshell wanted to change their earring, and I offered my help. I was already on pally (helped with some ZNMs earlier) but was /anon since I was sure I had to come as everything but tanker.
Then Amina asked me to come PLD to straight tank the Mithra while everyone else killed other Ark Angels before her…….and I thought, why not!
Not hiding I was super afraid to fail, die, missblink, and all possible mistakes ever, lulz.
Ended up doing fine! I also kited for a bunch of time a King Vinegaroon some days ago, had really no troubles even with no wlegs. And helped Sofo to kill Jazaraat for ToAU missions!

I still need to work a lot on equipment department and my HP sucks!
Bough a Cassie earring few days ago, hopefully will kill Bomb Queen soon and I’m going to start doing Limbus today with the Linkshell for Homam hands, feets and legs.
And I’m super happy for Valor Surcoat~ Also Jelly ring is very useful, especially in campaign. I’ve tried camping Bloodsucker for its ring but I kinda lost my hopes since competition is quite high …/wrist

Salvage is giving me hopes again. We got lot of new recruits and we always do runs with like 9 people or so.
Some of them are still totally new to the whole thing, this means for now we’re still slowing things down and still failing a couple of stuff x.x And I have to pull and port like a madman x.xxx
After my Macha’s coat, we got a couple of Usukane feet drop out of four POPs (gratz Pace and Pano!) and hands of same set~ (Pace haxed Salvage, about time!)
I can’t really wait to do Salvage like the old times, and poke mobs I haven’t seen for ages like Citadel Chelonian.

Scholar is going horribly. 3k to 43. Basically, I can’t find any party. I guess people wants more Haste and Refresh now. I even put comment “PL RDM 75″ but still zero invites. Well fuck that.
And it’s too bad since SCH is more performing that a BLM, WHM or RDM. Too bad i can just type “/ma Haste <t>” on my PL and still quicken up you guys.
Gave up some days ago, gonna try again sometimes this weekend.

Managed to claim a very good number of Kings lately.
And I’m super happy because I managed to fight Fafnir twice as BLM. Always did that fight as BRD or WHM, I wanted to test my nukes against that stupid dragon!
First time, I got shotted after a magic burst. This means I’m a cool BLM! Damage was not that great (I need to stop comparing my nukes to Kerb’s) but I’m still missing Novio on some merits on potencies and Burst II.
Stupidly happy to get hate off it! :x

New missions awesomeness

Latest update :3 Besides hax items, new missions’ cut scenes are totally made of win. Me and Kerb managed to do quickly all new ones including the lolfight~

Don’t hate me for the massive amount of screenshot I’m going to post today, but I think those are really worthwhile to be show off ! I <3 this taru so much, he’s so badass, and haxBLM too! He’s definitely one of my favourite characters :3

The gay dancer is something…………beyond massive lolness. I swear I was laughing so hard IRL while reading his supergayness speech, movements and HIS WAY TO LAUGH! Plas being a DNC helps alot obviously <.<

Lilisette is just…………. omg super. I thought Aphamu had the best facial expressions and fluid movements ever, but hell, I never imagined that SE could create a model like this. Details of her earring are amazing (I want one like that too!), her cheeks say “ommgpleasesqueezemelikenow” and her mouth MOVES realistically!

She is actually smiling for real! And looks so pretty too! I am so curious to open her model in VRS and see how complex is the whole skeleton, I really wish all characters were like that :<
Final Fantasy XI needs some graphic upgrade, at least on playable characters! And please remove that ugly jumpsuit on notsonaked tarus.

Finally some villains :3 Those fomors are awesome. I like that coupling. The “silly” one with long hair hume skin is fun! Kinda thought of Graeson when I saw him, mostly because they have the same “look” and because red mage relic. And holy awesomeness, the blue/violet-ish AF2 is …*drools* …makes me want to draw him, would be first time since long time I draw something that’s not taru :p

Mission fight :3 I wanted to play PLD, and kinda forced Kerb to make me not change to anything else, since I rarely get to play this job. Was a bit scared because I never solo tanked -blink tank- before, and the setup PLD BLM is not so shiny.
We literally owned it <.< Fight took a bit long because I wanted to have more tanking fun; did perfect cept a couple of times I screwed utsu cancelling it too late. Got petrified the last 10% but Kerb finished it. No deaths, yay!
This really made me happy, making me more secure and proud of my PLD, looking forward to tank more and more sometimes soon! (Will probably do while completing San d’Oria and Bastok missions)

Dark Ixion :o Didn’t manage to fight it yet, it keeps popping at very gay times when people are off or asleep on keyboard *COUGH COUGH*
I watched for a little another linkshell fighting that and I really love the charging move, ready to rape any clueless ally member. Really looking forward to tank it, need to claim this guy next time~
And by the size and glow, I can guess this gonna be a real avatar, but I totally don’t care about my SMN right now. (Even if i STILL want Bahamut staff and that new Garuda head……)
So many new stuff to do now, will care about Ixion (avatar speculations) later :3

Managed to do some mob snapping for those new ZNMs. Tried a few (Chigoe and ………uhm colibri’? I forgot) and those don’t seem too hard. We had almost a full ally though D:!
Kerb got that new T1 accuracy ring, while I bought the trigger for LilApkallu which drops the hax hMP feet and he also got me one for Shield NM! I really hope it drops! ^^
Despite I don’t like snapping that much, I find this new system very nice and sadly, time consuming. So much things to do and so few time……..but oh well!
The only thing I’m afraid of, is that soon (like in 1-2 months) people will lose interest for this and gathering peeps for a ZNM will be hard. Dunno!

Finally managed to get Yigit legs (wearing them as town gear since I really love the look) and Ethereal earring! This earring is so hax. I tried it with mission dragon and enjoyed it :3 Wish I got this way before!

Scholar 10! Ready to fight in the dunes. Stratagems looks so cool :3 If I get some time, I’m going to finish RDM today, which is currently LVL35. I’m…actually subbing it already on BLM because spells and abilities are good already, and I rather give up 1 INT at the moment than lacking of Gravity or Fast cast II.
After those two levels….. SCH 75 go! Already checked what equipment I’ll need. Not really much work cept Vermy/Ixion cloak, Einherjar MND cape, and minor things.

I need to exp my Savul more, and as far I know it is possible to change your NPC personality now. My Savul is a bit emo and silent, but I don’t really want to change him, I’m so used at his cold speech @.@!

Nyzul, we are totally going to change the whole set “purpose”. While at start we decided to farm each bosses till EVERYONE got what he/she wanted, we decided to just rush and complete everyone disk for new relics.
We’re about to complete Darkbrillance’ one (at floor 70 at the moment), then we have to redo from start with other five of us. Also, welcome Ultimatetaru to our set!

This update is so much win, finally SE made something real good for us silly time wasters :3
