souleater.org V.5

Made this brand new layout from scratch.
Used the wonderful B base of WPThemerKit (should check out if you’re using Wordpress!) and customized in a couple of days!

I know this theme has still lot of major flaws (like comment box, gallery and video page, plus some other minor stuff) but I’m going to fix em slowly.
Still making this almost  -if not- fully compatible to most common browsers.

Still have some old/new features to add, feel free to give me your feedbacks and bug reports!

And, last but not least, thanks again to monosomy for the awesome stunning header image.

Prelude of joy

Definitely left my old Salvage group, and started a new one with Kerb and Darkbrillance.
We have people completely new to the whole thing and some even to the endgame panorama!
But I like this set. Friendly people, I found again the fun I had when I started Salvage one year ago, I’m so happy! Need more people now, Tari and Meph where ? Need some good DD and a RDM :3

First of all, just ignore the NM name. Me and Kerb just having fun dat modding some mob names; see what utter boredom can do!
Anyway, did Bhaflau. After some horrible start+almost wipe, we managed to recover and start killing (Pace’s the hero of the day! Yay for MNK 2houring wamouras for a single magic cell that saved the run!)

Ramparts. Due wasted time we got a full 1st and half 2nd. Obviousily we saw no bees but…. got 5 widows pop. And 3 macha’s off those!

First pair went to Tirinai, second one I passed to Graeson, and I got the third :3
I’m so happy, besides the super luck, our set is starting to get drops! Now…. if only we could kill any boss.
Like I said earlier, we still having some major difficulty and doing any Chariot right now would be totally a suicide. Probably can start with some BCC for practice but….who knows. Just a matter of time I guess!

I did it. Tossed my static. Kinda regret of doing so, but yet I guess Ethereal is better. For PLD.

The only thing that scared me while tossing was the re-doing of the Promyvion thing again. I mean, I didn’t want to end with no earring and no one willing to climb those three areas with me, or just forced to solo and yell with npc and stuff.

But actually I did it :O
Went in with Mallo DRK, Joyo WHM (rofl), me BST, and Kerb as cheerleader BLM~!

This is why I love FFXI. Missions. Hanging with people. Fun. That was awesome, and passed a couple of hours enjoying the company of those guys on crack.
And again, had fun with BST after long time! I don’t get why I quitted the job, kinda regretting that decision. And I leveled SMN instead of it. Meh. I just blame COP. Had SMN leveled because of missions!

Anyway! Got all three slivers, gonna redo Apoc nigh sometimes soon ….this week end maybe? I hope so!

Oh god. Kinda suffered to get (almost) the whole PLD AF. Regarding misfortune and everything.
Had very good luck with feets and hands, as long with Garlaige coffer drop but…. never managed to reach the coffer itself. Was misteriously not up most of the time. Once I found even a linkshel CAMPING chests. Wtf!

Also, Zvahl coffer was a pain. Went there multiple times, for hours, as BLM, SMN, with friends help as well. (<3 Kerb, Grae, Distress, Hito) but it didn’t want to drop ; ;
On my……. 4th? day of farming, I finally got it and………..got raped by the other 934753984 demons I carefully aggro’d while being happy <.<!
Will never ever step into that place again! FFS! At least I got lucky finding coffer. Yay.
Won’t mention how easily I get lost there and I suck reaching the keep alone.. D: Stupid place! Castle Zvahl makes baby Jowah cry!

Did AF3 NMs fight duoing with Kerb. That was a piece of cake actually. Had to smash an orc out of two I had to spawn -a PLD and a RNG-
Only the PLD was required to be killed in order to proceed into the quest… I was taking care about the RNG while Kerb nuked the main thing.
The RNG hits like a truck D: Stoneskin went down so fast and got hit for 200-300 dmg each shot ><;
Bind is totally your friend.
Finished the PLD when Kerb ran out of MP! Super easy!

Yayz! And a big thank you to Chronus and Jski as well who helped me opening Garlaige doors, yay guys ^^ Much appreciated!
Now, missing only legpiece so far, but heh…. guess what. I get lost in Badoux.
I suck <.<

Finally catched up Kerb’s monk! And now we’re going to grind EXP till 75, even if sometimes soon we have to ungimp both our WARs, since they’re lvl30. At least, melee class, should be easy, just need some kind of PL and we’re set.

I literally broke my purse buying a Gluttony sword (that+ Lappas mats = poorJowah), but I couldn’t pass on such hax item! And after all, that’s the only weapon I’ll need before the Macuhatl. This means I’ll be able to get all gils back very soon.
All I want now is 60 for true PLD look! (Oh, and Kerb looks so cute while WS’n on his monk :>)

Nyzul today, hope Goliard drop for DB. We’re currently at floor 30, other 10 for legs boss!
Goliard legs looks totally ugly, but Askar ones are so cute……. wish us best luck anyway!

Thundaga on slept mobs? Priceless. (lolBLM)

Linkshell events are supposed to be super serious and done right but….. D: actually it’s nice to have fun sometimes.
What happened ? :D I just……….swapped with Kerberoz and I played his BLM while he was on my WHM :3

This may sound easy and quite ordinary ‘cept I kinda had to solo extensions (D:::::::) and lead all BLMs on synchs and stuff, which I really didn’t know what to do and when. (Jowah being tricked: O)

Best part with no doubts, was when I actually thundaga-ed all slept mobs, resulting on mpking myself/Kerb! XD
Still wondering why I have Sleepga II and Thundaga III on the same macro but different bars. Whatever.

Poor Kerb, I lost so much exp on his blm :< But that was super fun as hell XD
And I did a very good job actually :3

Still regarding the matter “abusing of other people’ account”, I cleared the Divine Might BC with a BLM full ally and it was……….. awesome. Pure hawtness.

Probably that’s what keeps me from quitting this job…. I’m at that point I get mad if I hear of “solo exp”, and if I get PT I happen to main heal…… it’s quite sad and unsatisying.

I kinda fucked with some assault tags and I’m forced to skip Salvage today, gonna get my last 8k exp and hit 68! Gonna ask Genkotsu to borrow me his Demon’s Cloak for a while~

Did a couple of Limbus runs lately; one with Linkshell people, and one with Kerb.
I managed to get coins and the material I needed to upgrade a piece of SMN AF, and obviousily i picked feet :3

I made some changes to blog, either code “enhancing” (should load a little faster now), and modified the comment layout and added/removed features on both columns on the right!
I have still more ideas to implement, but time is so ebil ; ; And can’t do everything I want!
Any suggestion for this site is welcome, since it seems I’ll never change this layout and keep editing it! x_x;;;

I’m no longer supporting IE6 or below, even if I’m keeping checking my blog with that as well, but I won’t correct any minor layout flaws. Current browsers I use to test souleater/blog are the following:

• Internet Explorer 7
• Opera
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari

If something is screwed up please send me an email or comment, and I’ll fix it as soon as I can! :3

New layout

This a very temporary -yet to fully customize- new layout my site will have.
I still have alot of mods to do, lot of work for me……guess I’ll keep myself busy while drawing with maintenance happening.
Don’t expect me to finish it in few days! Like previous version, it will be re-touched and fixed week after week.

My WoG has been posted! I really hope I’ll get it delivered that fast.
I used my work address to be sure I won’t miss the disc -I don’t want to be left behind with missions!-

EDIT: Ok, that layout sucked. So, I’m back to my old template ^^’

Despite the fact I’ve been at home last week (was sick so no work at all) I couldn’t post anything! But, LOT of awesome things happened :3
