Thinking of Maat

Being a “new player”, I don’t know what the hell is waiting for me.
Actually I’ve been thinking about Maat’s fight as soon I hit lvl 50, and of course, Genkai 1.
I heard that the match is real pain. And the worst thing can be the fact I’m a tarutaru.
Hopefully Draken will give me for a while some of his DEF lvl 70ish~ gear, and that’s something that can make difference. (I can’t go there with my Justacorps or Artifact xD)
I heard that actually you won’t do so much damage. It’s all Requiem and Dia work I suppose. You have to survive. But hey I’m scared ;_; I don’t want to be level 70 forever.
I’ll try to record that event and put the movie on my blog :’

Yesterday I’ve been to Purgonorgo Isle with Michael; I love that place because nobody’s there, and I can peacefully skill some low skills and the panorama is nice also^^…still have to try clamming tho!
Tried to find one of the two NMs but we had no luck….for the 10th time. I’m getting tired.

…then again there is nothing special I can tell about. I’ve done nothing in those days, I’m in a sorta of “relax week”.
I helped two friends of mine with their Rank 2 dragon BCNM. And that was strange, coz I was the Black Mage of the situation; Michael entered as BLU. Blu ownz you all!
And I was happy with BLM, I had to sleep in that fight and I LOVE sleeping things.

  I’m thinking about that fight every time I log in… -_-

  Although I think WAR is one of the easier fights, barring luck.

  I totally understand about being afraid of being 70 forever. I did my Maat fight the first time around as a rng, ended up doin it 3 times because my computer was just so laggy. I’d hit a macro and have it fire 3 secs later. >

  Ya know, could always take the pussy’s way out and fight him on WHM. Even as a Taru, all you gotta do is stay alive. Just grab all your DEF gear (like Phalanx Rings) and just… Wait for him to swing (which he does pretty slowly), then Cure Cure Cure.

  No idea how it is on BRD though… I can’t even imagine it, without the WHM SJ. /fear
